Locating a Disney Store

So I know Disney stores are owned now by Children's Place, right? Are there still Disney Stores? I know many have closed down. Is there a place online with a Disney Store locator? I have searched google and everything, but all I can get is the link to disneydirect.com which doesn't have a store locator option. Can you search from the Children's Place website? Any ideas??

There are no more Disney Stores.

For now, they are still called Disney Store, Disney does not own them anymore, Childrens Place does.
Some people don't even realize, there has been a change in ownership.

So they are still called Disney Stores, but the materials inside are Children's Place merchandise?? I saw someone just posted the other day that they bought something at the Disney Store. Maybe it was longer ago than I thought. Man, I'm really upset if they are done for good. I thought they were just owned by CP now, but were still being run as stores with Disney merchandise. How silly! Was business really that bad??

There are still some Disney stores open. There is still one in the mall near me. You are right, Children's Place does own them now. When I went to the mall last Sunday, the Disney store had mostly kids stuff.

Did you try to call the Children's Place's customer service number-1 877 PLACE USA?

I don,t want to mislead you, the merchandise in the stores is Disney Merchandise. The stores are not run by Disney anymore.

You got it. They ARE still called Disney Stores and they ONLY carry Disney merchandise. They are a bit different than the OLD Disney Stores in that they no longer carry collectibles and are mostly children's items versus a good mix of both Adult and Kids stuff.

This website will actually take you to The Disney Catalog shopping site which is a totally different company and different merchandise (they do have a few items the same--but not many). The Children's Place has purchased the Disneystore.com web address and is supposed to be taking over that address sometime this fall--but for now, if you type in disneyshopping.go.com or if you type in disneystore.com--you will get The Disney Catalog (DisneyDirect)

So if I'm searching in the area I just moved to see if there are any Disney stores, I should search the mall listings for Disney Store, not Children's Place, correct? Thanks

There is a very beautiful Disney Store inside the Toms River Mall in Toms River New Jersey. I go there every chance i get!

These stores carry virtually nothing but children's merchandise. Those I've visited carry a few mugs and snowglobes and that's about all besides kid's stuff.

And yes, they are still listed as The Disney Store at malls. Children's Place is separate and only carries kids' clothes.
