Locally Made Exchange sign ups - CLOSED

Postage isn't too bad to Canada---I seem to send there alot;
I even got a stack of Customs forms from the post office so that I can have them completed before I go to mail the package.

Every now and then my postage get high because I put too heavy of items in the package. It is a challenge to find special "Light" things for mailing.

I really do enjoy the exchanges:Pinkbounc

This looks like fun. But since I don't think that anyone would like to receive a big box of Pepto Bismal from me, I guess I'll pass on this one. Have fun, y'all!

note to Amberle3, I believe (correct me if I'm wrong, guys-I didn't see anyone address this..) that all the exchanges are open to everyone, which includes Canada AND our UK Dis friends. If postage is an issue, you may want to consider the "Light" approach that clhcpaca mentioned, since you may be sending it overseas.

Have a great exchange everyone!:wave:

I send packages to friends in the US fairly frequently, so I'm pretty prepared for sending stuff out :)

I was just worried about someone getting my name and then realizing that whoa, this is going across the border and postage is just a wee bit more!

OK, I told you I would keep bumping, so you might as well just join. :teeth:

Just an FYI, what you send doesn't all have to be company produced products. Visit your local craft store or festival. Items picked up there are locally made too. Or maybe a local church/organization has cookbooks for sale as a fundraiser.

Hey good idea Kirby, I didn't even think of thoes things.
Thanks :D

::yes:: This is the 4th exchange I've signed up for in the last month or so....

Oh man. This might be a hard one. VA is known for it's Tobacco but I don't suppose sending Ciggerettes to someone would be a nice thing *laugh*

I'm sure we have other locally made items so I'll come up with something else. :)

Kirby how many people have joined?
