Local School Schedules

When do most of the local schools get out for the summer? I have an early June trip, and wandered if they would still be in school during that time.

Anaheim USD lets out May 26th, unless it's necessary to extend the calendar to make sure they have the minimum number of days in the school year, in which case it extends to June 3.

Garden Grove USD - last day of school is June 1st

I don't recall what other local cities are nearby off the top of my head but most of this is searchable online.

So, it looks like most kids are out of school before your trip starts.

To be honest though with how this year is going, the parks have been even more full on weekdays vs. weekends. I've seen just as many school age kids on a few weekday trips I've taken, so it really may not make much of a difference.

Disneyland is all about local guests and if they decide to open the Magic Key calendar or not (compared to WDW / tourists)

Capistrano Unified and Irvine Unified (Orange County) last day is June 2.

Not local, but some neighboring states get out before June as well. My friend is a teacher in Arizona and her last day is may 19 (wow just realized that’s next week lol).

A lot of Orange County and California still gets out closer to June 15th, but so many have gone earlier that basically "summer" starts in May.

Not local, but some neighboring states get out before June as well. My friend is a teacher in Arizona and her last day is may 19 (wow just realized that’s next week lol).

Yup a lot of my friends with kids all say their kids will be out of school in the next couple of weeks and all seem to have Disneyland trips planned lol.

Most Arizona schools are out before Memorial day. We also go early June (coming from Arizona) and some of our days have already sold out. Bracing myself for crowds.

Last day for LA Unified is June 10th.

And they go back on August 15 which is the day passes that are blocked for the summer start to be unblocked.
