Local Orlando forecast right now...

Omigod, my boss is there and he is sending me panicky e-mails on his Blackberry. His flight from MCO to LGA leaves at 8:00 tonight and he wants to know if Katrina might delay or cancel the flight.

Can someone give me the most current local forecast for this evening?

The one I got off weather.com for Orlando wasn't good enough for him.

I just had a look at the Orlando airport web site and it's looks like the only flights cancelled as of now are the ones this afternoon going to Fort Lauderdale/Miami. Watching this closely as we fly in tomorrow!

One more stupid question for locals:

What county is Orlando in? The NWS mentions the warnings for each county, but that doesn't help me if I don't know what county he's in!!!!!

8pm tonight should be no problem. here is a great site to keep track of the tropical stuff. i have family down there, and always like to keep up with the storms to see what is happening. orlando is far enough inland that they shouldn't get much out of this storm. but leaving tonight is getting out ahead anyway...now, if he were flying out of miami, then he should be concerned
