Local McDonald's vent......

Last night DH went to McDonald's and got the kids happy meals in hoping to surprise me with a new disney toy and card {DD could careless about them right now} to add to my collection.

He gets home and after I get DD's food out for her, in the box {Disney box by the way} is a NEOPET toy. I was so mad I could have spit nails!!! So DS looks in his box and he had the samething, a NEOPET. He was none to happy either.

Ok,my venting is over.

Stinkers...hopefully they ran out and just didn't stick an old neopet in your happy meal. This happens to us sometimes but when it's a disney toy and a chance to win a trip they are messing with the wrong person.

Just on a side note...I made DH order a happy meal for himself last week. He said ok...but if he won he gets to aution the trip on ebay.

Sounds like something our local McDonalds would do. We have one two blocks away from us and they are constantly messing up our order and doing things like that. I have to ALWAYS double check our order.

Luckily we don't go there that often we all prefer Burger King instead.
Wendy's is on the top of our list too.

Did you open the toys? If you leave them in their packaging you can trade them in to another McDonalds that still has Disney toys in stock. I do this whenever we get a double or an undesired toy.

I always look before I leave the register. Forget abt the toy, they never get the FOOD right!

I sugested we do MD for lunch yesterday as a treat for DD. On the way DH mentioned that he saw a sign at a different MD's that Bratz where there. I was like "no way. If they have bratz we are getting tolder toys." They actually had a few Disney toys left. The manager gave DD a Simba when we got there and were checking what toys the had still, then they gave us 2 more in the happy meals. (Buzz and Pluto.) I think we have them all except for sticth.

We really like this local MD, we will drive out of our way for them instead of a few that our closer to our house.

Next is Madame Alexander dolls. I see more happy meals in our future. Thank God for Apple dinners and juice boxes.

The wrong toys? AT least you got the right FOOD! We now consider going through the McDonald's drive through an adventure in dining- how CLOSE to what you ordered will what you get actually be!!! For example- order a filet of fish and you get chicken nuggest would be close, a Big Mac wouldn't (fish is closer to chicken than beef), but you would lose points for no bun!

I don't think we have had a correct order in over a year. The good news is that it has really cut back in our fast food eating out!
