Hi all!

I LOVE lobster... Is it available for dinner(or lunch!) on board???

Thank you!

It is available on the 7 night cruises.

We cruise 3/6 for 7 nights! Now the big question.... Can I have more than one? hahahah!

Are the whole or just tails?

Thanks for your time....

On our 7 day Eastern last August, we had lobster tails on Thursday evening (semi-formal night) then had lobster burgers on CC Friday for lunch.

Yes, bill-dfw, you can request as much and as many different items from the menu as you like. Even things that aren't on the menu might be available. My son (8 yrs. old) wanted to know if they had fried mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, the head waiter told us he'd check and came back with enough for the whole table.

My friend is going to kill me for sharing this, but on all 3 of our Magic cruises she ordered 6 lobster tails on lobster night.:p It's a good idea to tell them the night before if you're going to go "overboard" (pun intended) and eat more than 2 or 3 lobsters.

They are tails. You can have as many as will fit in your tummy. They will also take it out of the shell for you if you ask. In May it was only available on thursday night. None left for CC. I was a little upset because I wanted to taste a lobster burger but, oh well. The rest of the bbq was good.:D

Is this available for children at the table too. My 6 year old loves lobster, and since we have it only for "special" occasions, she will be thrilled if she can have a tail of her own.

Sure thing! We didn't choose to partake (it was very VERY rough that night on our cruise, so only myself and DD went to dinner, and there were many half empty tables), but the lobsters were for everyone. Kids can order of the "grown up" AND/OR the adult menu, my kids picked and chose what they want, and I ordered from the kids menu for dessert almost every night...bet you can't guess what... *wink*

They don't have the menu item "Surf and Turf" (lobster and steak). One of the men at our table made his own combo from the lobster and one of the choices of steak.

This (lobster night) was the only time in many cruises where the head waiter interacted with us. He helped the serving team remove the lobster from the shell. The asst. server was pretty new and couldn't do it very well or quickly. But we had no accidents like in "Pretty Woman":earseek:
