This is a new item that wasn't on the menus the last time I was at WDW. Is it a mayonnaise based salad, is it whole lobster on a roll and most important, is it any good?
Another New Englander here, and I'd pass on this one, just based on the picture (though, I'm a fan, otherwise, of CHH). Just for the record, up here there is another variety of lobster roll other than the "lobster salad" one shown here. I've had them where it was all lobster meat (no mayo, but a sprinkle of spice...possibly a paprika/salt blend) in a toasted hot dog roll, with drawn butter on the side.
Mmmmm...heaven...![]()
Agreed - at lunchtime, Captain's Grille serves an authentic lobster roll with a lot less filler, and it comes with really good thick-cut fries or a refreshing vegetable-orzo salad. Personally I prefer lobster rolls that are just lobster meat, spices, and butter, but this was good for the mayo version. If you want a real lobster roll, try Captain's Grille at the Yacht ClubThey are loaded with real chunks of real lobster meat, just the right amount of mayonnaise and server on a grilled hot dog roll
I am from New England and that is how to do a lobster roll

I don't like that type of lobster roll - so we all have different tastes. You probably would not like the one at CHH then.
During Food & Wine fest they had a Lobster Roll with just the lobster meat and spices. No mayo, no butter. I thought it was only okay
