Friends of mine are heading to Orlando soon and have said they would quite like a lobster meal. Is there anywhere there that you have had a good one.

Any suggestions of places I can give them to go.

They are staying offsite so it doesn't have to be a Disney resturant.

I love Boston Lobster Feast on I-Drive. All you can eat lobsters as well as loads of other stuff :thumbsup2

The first time we went my Mum had one at Rainforest Cafe.
She said it was really good - but it was the first time she had had lobster so didn't have anything to compare it to.
I'm pretty sure Fultons Crabhouse at DTD will sell it too.

Market Street Cafe in Celebration does great lobser. and its a nice place to have a stroll after dinner!

I had lobster and steak at Naccossies, you could get lobster on it's own. It was loxely but it was the first time I'd had it, so can't compare. I was on the DDP, think it will be very expensive if paying cash.

We are eating at Narcoossiees this August for our wedding anniversary (free DDP :thumbsup2) and I am torn between the lobster and steak combo(think this is rock lobster) or the Maine whole lobster... never had loster so ot sure who you break in to get the meat :rotfl2: might ask them if they can serve it dressed?

Only ever had lobster on a cruise but they prepare it at the table. Surely will be same in Disney restaurants. Cruise last August I enjoyed it so much I ordered a 2nd. Never had it anywhere else to compare but it was good enough for me.:cloud9:

Snap! Booked Narcoosees for our anniversary too and I don't know which one to go for - I fancy just the lobster as I've heard it's fantastic, but think maybe I should get the surf and turf seeing as I've never had lobster before - I might not like it!
Wayneg - that lobster of yours looks fantastic!

Thanks Wayneg, I've been Dibbing for a couple of years (I'm Louisa that was married on the same day as you!) and only coming on here now and again. But I thought I would come and say hello properly! I'll look into the meet on the 26th.

Welcome Louisa, hope you enjoy DIS. I am the reverse occasionally look at Dibb but mainly DIS

We were there for our Anniversary last year and it was the best night ever. When I had booked the cm had noted it, along with DS's birthday and they made us a special menu with our names & anniversary on and gave DS a really big cup cake with a candle in it. The server was wonderful and in between main & dessert we went outside to watch wishes.

Reguarding the lobster & steak, it was really good, I had a lobster tail with I think melted butter & two fillets. We were on the DDP but paid oops for DS a kids meal. It was so good we are going back this year for our anniversary.

I can't advise where to go, but can advise where NOT to go, tell them absolutely NOT Fulton's at DTD - their lobster is dry and overpriced.

We had a really nice meal at Red Lobster just past Wet 'n' Wild on I Drive last year. I had scallops wrapped in bacon and king prawns. Never had the lobster but it did look nice.
