Has anyone had any recently? I read some old threads which pointed to Le Cellier but when I checked their menu it is no longer there-

Is there anywhere on property that serves a good lobster?

Is there anyone who serves it on the dining plan(1 or 2 credits)?

Anyone outside of WDW you would recommend?

TIA<Jen

Cap N Jacks in Downtown Disney... They have a twin tails that is covered on the DDP for 1 credit... We loved that meal... It came with a rice and a veggie... The lobster was VERY good... Cooked just right:thumbsup2

FishBones at 6707 W Sand Lake Rd has the biggest lobster tails I have ever seen.

We dined there this past February and twice last August. You cannot beat it for 1TS! Very good and also loved the crab cake appy. Nice location and pretty view too!

Is Capn Jacks really that good? I read the restaurant itself was a little dirty, the lobster deal is tempting though, we are New Englanders & are pretty picky about lobstahs

Just so you know "you New Englanders"... the lobster at Capn Jacks is not New England lobster. I called the restaurant last Fall and the manager told me that it was Florida lobster, NOT New England lobster. People seem to like it but I think that warm water lobster just tastes different.

I'm from New Orleans, and I've *never* been happy with seafood at Disney World.

I can't imagine coming from New England and getting anything you'd be happy with there, either.

Orlando is just not a seafood kind of town!

Exception is some dishes at some signature restaurants are reported to be quite good.

But I just don't order seafood at Disney anymore.

I went to Cap n' Jacks, used to live in Cali and get lobster a fair amount of times at the ports of call. I thought the lobster was really good, 3 of us got it, and all really enjoyed it, it was cooked just right!

;) Thanks DisneyGal55 & GinnyFavers, we will not be doing Capn Jacks!

I did not find the place to be dirty AT ALL... The server was very good... The view was really nice... The only problem we had was a very long wait for our table even with the ADR... But it was really nice!

had the twin lobster tails at capn jacks in october - very good, restaurant was clean, nice view out the windows

also had whole lobster at narcoosees - beautiful restaurant!

For me, the only lobster worth the trouble is a Maine Lobster. The only places I know of at WDW to get a Maine lobster is Narcoosees or Shula's.
