That review wasn't that great at all. If anything it would keep me from eating there. The potatoes were lukewarm? She could only take a couple bites of the veggies? Crabcakes were OKAY? They looked like hockeypucks if we ask me. We ate at CJ's once and we never finished our meal. The crab dip had that nasty fake crab mixed in with some claw meat and plenty of shell. The alfredo tasted like flour. Very pasty. The shrimp in it were rubbery. The whole meal was gross. We didn't even want to chance dessert! .I guess I am different. If I want lobster I will go to a quality place and pay for it. I'd rather eat a filet o fish at McDs and get better quality! LOL!

That reminds me of an old saying about "cheap" caviar ...

I just returned Monday. Please note the following:

There do not appear to be add-ons anywhere except for a scallop or chicken add on to the caesar salad at CR. I did not recall seeing a lobster add-on at the Yachtsman. Believe me, DH would have asked if he saw that. Nothing at Spoodles, either.

We did not eat at Captain Jacks but DH and I did eat at Narcoosses. That 2.5 Maine Lobster with roasted asparagus was WORTH the 2 credits. WOW. They also had a filet with a "southern" type lobster tail that looked very good. Again, no add-ons at Narcoossees.

Perhaps the add-ons will come back after free dining, but perhaps not.

Had the twin tails this weekend..we thought they were very good. Crab cakes were also good..have no complaints

Was the lobster hard to get out? I like lobster, but tend to stick to the tails as I'm not all that adept with the crackers. I have an ADR for Narcoosee's this upcoming trip, so something to look forward to...

I can't remember if Captain Jack's is the restaurant in the steamboat--if it is, I went there for dinner one night last year and found the food to be ok, but the service was simply "meh." I was sat in an area that was completely empty (ok) and then got to listen to all the servers as they reset all the tables and discussed loudly how much they wanted to go home (bad.) Then, when I tried to pay with my room card, the waiter said he didn't know if it could be done because, he sniffed, "we are not Disney." (ugly)

Well, we have a very nice meal at Capt Jacks and I look forward to going back in a couple weeks. :confused3

We ate at Fulton's two years ago and they would not give a reservation but were on the dp. May have changed.

I just confirmed. Fulton's is not on the Dining Plan, either for 2006 or 2007.

Hmmm....I had a CM tell me at Grand Gathering Travel Planners last week that Fulton's was going to be on the DDP next year. She must have been misinformed. I wanted to go there, because they have the lobster tail on their menu but decided on Yachtsman Steakhouse. We ate there 3 years ago and it was very good! :thumbsup2

Anyways you guys have convinced me to switch from YS to Narcoosee's now (I've never eaten here before). I love lobster (usually order lobster tail) but didn't want to get the whole lobster because of the difficulty of taking it out the shell. I didn't know that they do this for you. I sure am glad I found this thread! This will be a nice dinner for me and DH before the rest of our gang gets there the next day!

I'm really starting to get excited now!! Only 15 days to go.
:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Things could change, but currently Fulton's isn't participating. Sorry.
