LMTC vs. Event Rate

I'm getting ready to buy tickets and found that LMTC prices are just a bit less than purchasing from Disney with the group event rate. It is not a big difference, so if the organizing group gets a benefit from attendees purchasing through them, I'm happy to do so to support them. Any opinions of advantages or disadvantages for either? Does LMTC add any fees at checkout? Thanks!

Will the tickets from the organizing group allow you to go right to the gate or will you have to exchange vouchers at the ticket booths first? LMT tickets allow you to go right to the turnstiles, which is very convenient. (If you will be arriving the day/night before your first park day, this point is moot since you'd be able to exchange any vouchers at the booths before starting your park days.) If both tickets let you skip the ticket booths, then I don't see why you shouldn't let the organizing group have your business.
