LMT World for $1 experiences?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this so please move if need be Has anyone that won the LMT stay used it yet and did everything go smoothly?? I haven't heard anything so I'm assuming all is going well with it? Any info would be much appreciated!! TIA!!

Ohhh, that's bringing back some bad memories of sleepless nights and much frustration!

Many sleepless nights and MUCH frustration!! I NEVER once saw the video pop up. I also wonder how it went for the folks who won.

Yep ! we stayed at Coronado Springs in June and everything went perfectly, we even got the cabana and view we wanted a while back there was another thread from some of the other $1 winners and their experiences were exactly like mine !


I was never asked for LMT confirmation papers or anything either !

We used ours in June in Nashville. We had a great time and the hotel was nice. The only peeve I had was the hotel didn't have the reservation in our name until the Wednesday or Thursday before our arrival (Monday). Made me a little nervous. I had a different hotel reserved as a back up in case something went wrong (it was a busy time in Nashville and I didn't want to be stuck without somewhere to stay) and low and behold I forgot to cancel until the 2nd day so we had to pay for 2 nights at that hotel but it was still cheaper than paying for a week stay.

I used mine for a Florida beach vacation. Stayed at the Ritz-Carlton. All perfect.

It makes me happy to hear that winners actually got what they were promised. It was frustrating for me, but at least it wasn't a total scam.

Yeppers! We used ours in March with no problems at all! We stayed at POR and it was perfect! Still can't believe that it was so easy!

We used ours in February without a hitch at Poly over-looking the Castle in the club level....Amazing, still can't believe that when I think back....

Ours was a preferred room at ASMu - 7 nights. Very pleased with room and enjoyed ASMu much more than I had expected. No problems at all.

It was a promotion for a travel web site. And we have no idea if they are gonna do it again.

Thanks so much for the responses everyone!!I'm glad its working out and YES there were many sleepless nights but GREAT to know it'll be worth it! Now I just need it to be time to makes my ADRS Thanks again!!!

Just got back on Sat. 19th from my World for $1 hotel stay at the CBR. I had no problem at check in, I did give LMT my ss#. I booked a standard book but Disney said I had a preferred room and was put in building 31 Trinidad North. Only thing is we missed the free dining. We always go in Sept for free dining. This trip we only had 6 out of 10 with free dining and we really did miss it. I wish I would have book it for a different time and just booked 10 night of free dining.

We used ours in April in Disney at All Star Sports and had no problems at all! A whole 8 days for free, who could beat that?

Oh yeah! I had a vacation and by a stupid mistake on my part, I lost out. I am a firm believer that thinks happen for a reason and in this case it I was right. Our plans ended up changing a little so we would probably would not have used the hotel I was trying to get. We decided to shorten that leg of our trip and use the money we would have spent on food and activities for a Disney Christmas vacation instead! Although my siggie says I'm a World for a $1 loser, I am actually a winner!
