Hi :
I know you can book all your LLMP and LLSP starting 7 days out(on property) for every day of your trip. My question is, is each day a separate charge to your CC? Is there no way to make all of my five days into one single large charge. I ask because i can picture exactly what will happen. The bank will see multiple charges at 4AM(Im on the west coast) one right after the other all from the same website site. It will probably let the first 2 go through and then start blocking the rest as possible fraud. I do at least have another card so I'll guess I'll have it ready but its too bad there doesn't seem to be a way to just do one single charge. I cant imagine people who have up to 14 days!
Thanks!

Each day is a separate transaction. In the early days of LLMP/LLSP, there were indeed many reports of credit card transactions being denied and lines frozen. However, that no longer seems to be happening. I guess Visa and Mastercard figured out this was the way Disney was doing business and chose to allow those transactions to go through so long as they were coming from a trusted vendor (Disney). On the day I purchased LLs for my group of 13, we weren't all booking the same rides, so I needed to make multiple transactions for some park days. I made 12 separate purchases and had no credit card problems at all.

Exactly what you are concerned about has happened to multiple people. Unfortunately the current system only allows one day of booking per transaction. It is recommended you have more than on cc available to book LLMP and LLSP should you run into challenges with your first card.

You can also let your credit card company know that you intend to make these purchases. That could help.

But, as @scrappinginontario suggests, having other credit cards on hand is a good idea.

Yeah, my cards will send me an alert notification if anything looks suspicious/unusual and I can just say, "Yes, it's me." They rarely do it anymore because their data is so good that they know where you are and what you are doing. If you have airfare to Orlando, a hotel near WDW booked, etc. they shouldn't think too much about you spending money with Disney. They can know these things even if you didn't charge them to the same credit card too.

Thanks everyone. I have had this problem with the BoA card many times(non Disney related) with multiple online purchases done in succession. I wish they would send me the texts to reply to and ok the transactions but that never seems to happen. I do have another CC so I'll definetly make sure to have that handy on go day. I just wish there was a way MDE could save all the selections up and then pay at the end. Also, is it nessecary to enter the new CC info at the time of purchase? I cant seem to find a way to store multiple cards on my account but maybe i am missing something.

You have a right to be concerned. There is currently someone on the GC thread in the Budget forum that used a Disney GC for her LL purchases. Disney flagged it for fraud, cancelled all of her LLs and locked the GC. They told her it takes 5-7 days to fix but she is leaving for her trip without her LLs and no access to the $800 on her Disney GC. Unbelievable!

It is easy to add up to 6 payment methods to your MDE profile. It is easier to add payment methods by using the MDE web interface: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/profile/payment-methods

Also, is it necessary to enter the new CC info at the time of purchase?
No if you are making multiple purchases in a row for different days, it is very easy to keep your travel group, and payment selection. Just changing your date and park choice on the LL purchase process.

We booked LL's in January for five days. I had three credit cards ready to go. We managed to book three days of rides on one card, and then the card blocked us. We grabbed another card and finished our purchases.

Thank you! I dont know why this process eluded me for so long!

This is exactly our situation. I have five park days, only 2 people so luckily no multiple purchases per day. I will have both my spare card and my husbands card if need be. This is such a weird way to do it. There has to be some way Disney could batch all the days on one charge and not cause this issue. The situation refered to above with the GC is nuts, especially since its a Disney GC in the first place. I hope that lady gets it sorted.

They could but then guests can tie up multiple days, and then if they don't complete the purchase it causes huge swings in availability. It really makes sense to do it day by day. You only here about issues when it fails, very few reports when it just works.

We have never had issues with LL purchases and the card processor blocking any of the transactions. However my CC processor seems to hate Apple Store purchases. Almost every transaction on one of our iPhones is flagged.

Gift cards are an entire different discussion and often they have very specific issues. I would always recommend guests only use a Gift Card with a fixed amount that covers LL purchases and not their entire value that they need for their entire trip to WDW.

GIft Cards are just stored value of captive money where there are many risks, and rewards to using Gift Cards.
