LL Premier Pass is here!

Wow look at the price! $369 for MK I believe!

Right along the lines of Universal Express Pass - I believe the general Express Pass gives you one express entrance per attraction.

Makes me wonder if Disney ends up following the Universal model and including an unlimited Premier Pass if you book Deluxe...or a certain level of Deluxe resort. Bundle it up with a high-level room rate....

Well. 2 park unlimited in only 320 at its highest in December - it may go up a little from there -
At $320 a family of three or four can just book one night at RPR for just under 1000 and get two days of Unlimited.

$429 PP for 1 ride per person and 1 park seems pretty high to me - and its only "only to deluxe resort guests including DVC." so you have to also book a very overpriced room IMO. (Yeah RPR at 1000 is overpriced - but you get 4 (maybe 5) express passes per room for two days)
I think we all know that Mk will be close to 429 most of the time - but we will see.
Not sure I see much value in getting it at the other three parks unless it was unlimited.

I know this offering is for “ease of use” but with FP+ and even Genie+ (at wdw and especiallly at DL) I tend to get almost all the rides I want anyways. Haven’t used the new system yet but I’m sure I’ll do ok. Of course I know the nuances to the system from here. I’ll gladly pay $30 for 75% of what I want than $300 for 100%. To each their own.

However, from a publicity standpoint it’s just another “Disney is for the rich” data point which I thought they wanted to avoid.

This is just a limited pilot program, at least for now. We really don't have any information on what this option might look like in a full rollout (if that even happens).

Thr Universal model is frozen to the 3 original hotels; to the original 2 parks. New hotels; Sapphire and Helios guests don't get express passes. Volcano Bay and Epic Universe don't give complimentary express pass access to any hotel guests

I'd be surprised if it was around $429pp per day for MK. That would make it almost as expensive as getting a VIP tour on some dates and dividing it by 10 (max of 10 ppl allowed).

I'm wondering if they will offer hopper options, discounts for AP holders and DVC, etc. when it rolls out.

Oh what the heck is this now? Yeesh.

The only park I can see this being needed is MK and that looks crazy expensive. And limited amounts to deluxe, but when? When would we even know the price if we wanted it for December? That's a dollar amount you need to plan for, not just wing it.

The one nice thing is don’t need to book times. Can just go to each ride wherever. Also only available to people staying at deluxe or DVC resorts (and swan/dolphin, SOG). Will be very expensive though. I could see it as a decent option for someone with a short trip who doesn’t go often and wants to hit every ride.

It’s a limited pilot program, sure, but there is still an article on the home page of cnn.com. They will get a lot of press for this.

I think those prices are double what they should be. For $400/day, I expect once per ride of any park I visited.

My real worry is that these will drive the ILL and MLL prices UP, when they are already pretty high.

Soon, they’ll be charging for clean bathrooms.

NO, not, nopity no, nuh uh. I'll get by with rope drops and a couple LLs.

My top tier UO AP is an EP after 4pm. It gives me big discounts on rooms, food and merch. Also huge discounts on full day EPs.
My SW Platinum is good for major discounts and one QQ a day.
The 2 together cost less than an Incredipass and offer far better benefits.
We have the money but Disney only gets a few days a year max now and only for festivals or birthdays.

I can never figure out if we're not supposed to compare Disney to Universal (because UO is not magical) or we are (because UO is less expensive).

More seriously: This has to be priced at a point where most people would not buy it, otherwise the LL return lanes would be over-run. They can already get quite long at UO's more popular attractions.

100%. They can’t make it $100 for MK as a lot of people would buy it then making their LLs useless like it was in the days where everyone had DAS.

I mean, does this cannibalize the rides for those of us who can make them 7 days in advance? I was feeling good about getting Slinky, but now with this, it may already be gone when I book???

Well it depends on how much they lower the number of LLMPs they sell or how much they reduce the capacity or number of LLs available each hour to account for this. I would imagine if they are reducing the number of LLs available, they’ll reduce the # of LLMPs they sell accordingly. My guess is you wouldn’t see much of a difference 7 days out for booking. These Premier Passes won’t be booking return times, so the effect will be on the day you’re in the park for booking subsequent LLs and the reduced capacity then.
