We haven't been to WDW since Avatar and Galaxies Edge have opened. So, our question is: If we get Genie+ LL or ILL for any of those rides, will we miss significant portions of the Pre-Shows? And if so, which rides and how much of those Pre-Shows are missed? Thank you all for any and all info!!
You see the full pre-shows as the merge points are before the pre-show but you miss part of some of the queue theming. For Flight of Passage, you miss the lab.

This was always one of the downsides of FP+ previously (and now LL) for FOP. The lab (and especially the Navi in the tank) is something most people want to see, but the trade-off for a shorter wait is missing it. We rode FOP during the window when there was SB only and got to see the rest of the queue, which was nice to see at least once. If the wait is 2-3 hours in SB, though, I'm not sure I would consider it worth that long of a wait just to see the lab.
I'm not sure how things are now but, back in the day, if you rode SB at RD and the line hadn't gotten too long, they had been initially using the FP/LL queue for everyone first thing in the morning until it filled up enough to divert the line to the full queue. So there was still a chance, even if riding SB, that having a shorter wait meant missing the lab.
Someone who has been recently will have to weigh in on whether SB first thing in the morning still uses the LL for a little while before transitioning to the full queue.
We were there in October and we walked through the main queue. they had some of the switchbacks blocked off, but walked through everything else. Walked through the lab.
