In case anyone is interested, LL Bean is having a sale today through Monday. 10% off plus free shipping. My daughter in college wants a pair of bean boots (we used to call them duck boots) for Christmas and the 10% off came in handy. 
I can't believe those boots are popular again- they were all the rage when I was in college back waaaaaaaay back in the 80's but my daughter says they are. Hunter wellie boots are too but she has a pair of those already.
