LL Bean changes return policy

The new policy is one year with proof of purchase. They are still standing behind the products they sell and will try to work with customers who have issues after the one year expiration.

I’ve never heard of such a lenient returns policy here in the UK. We usually have around a month to return products unless it’s the Christmas period when many retailers will allow any purchases from around November onwards to be returned until January. The only place I have come across something like this is Abercrombie Kids, which is an American retailer.
