LL at Space Mountain... C'MON!

Out of all the LL lines, the worst managed seems to be Space Mountain.

There were only TWO scanners, so obviously the line was backed up all the way down the ramp - making everyone assume that was the standby line. Standby riders "in the know" were walking right into the ride, and the first timers didn't know they were in the wrong line until the got to the front and the CM directed them to the other line.

Why don't they install more LL scanners? Other rides have 4-6 scanners up front and therefore don't have lines!

I agree with you. It can be a very messy entry the way it’s set up.

or reduce the LL allocations. That LL line is always insanely backed up. I blame the multi attraction passes when other rides break down, but that LL line is broken.

Yeah, those passes are likely making that bad set-up even worse!
