Lizbro`s trip report day 6 Sat 17th march
Cast Liz (31) gets a bit obsessed with planning

Day 6 We`re still here!!!
Up about 9am to the realisation that we were still here ,kids got the double beds and we had the sofa bed which was really comfy ,got packed again and headed off down to breakfast ,had arranged with my friend that wed go straight to the train station and see what was going on and while at breakfast she texted me to tell me that if we went to reception there were park tickets waiting for us ,at least we could go in the park today because there was the other realisation that we had spent all our money the night before on fags so thanks god we still had the Auchen snacks and the breakfast at Newport bay was great and loads of it with a coffee machine!!!!! We had been too polite at the Disneyland hotel to ask for refills so only had 1 cup each morning as this was a machine at n.b we had about 4 coffees to keep us going! Took the baggage to the luggage place at N.B and then we headed off to the station ,it seemed really busy today and a huge difference from in the week, it was st Patricks day so the characters wore in their green costumes and there was a few extra things going on but first the station !
Well no surprise to find out that no-one knew what was going on ,we asked at the ticket office who told us to come back at about 3pm ,we asked at Disney express who told us they had no idea ,we asked other staff and we were given loads of different info.
My friend had decided she was staking out the Eurostar check in so she had sent off her dh,dm,2 ds`s off to the park so she said she would text us if anything happened, we agreed first my dh and kids would sit at the station while me and friends went back to N.B to get our luggage ,in all the stress of the day it was the funniest moment ever!! Between 2 of us we had 4 large cases on wheels,6 holdalls and although the staff at the N.B couldnt have been more helpful getting it all on the bus for us at the station end we were attempting to steer one of the trolleys without anything falling off and giggling as we were dropping bags everywhere!!! We got back to the station and left her to sit tight and we said wed go back later on , it was a lot cooler today and really busy so we agreed on a trip on the railroad round a few times and a trip on mark twain ,everyone was tired after the night before and we queued for nearly an hour at frontierland just get on the train so we sat on that as it went round twice and then made our way over to mark twain ,we queued about 30 mins to get on and was glad we had as you get see a different view of things ,
sat and had some snacks before deciding to head back to the station to keep my friend company ,we sat with her for a bit and I spent my last 10 E on coffee and as we were about to go a man came out at about 3.50pm and said if you want to get this train you have to go downstairs and change them at the ticket office NOW
Me and trusted friend threw everything at my stunned dh and ran like mad ,we managed to get 3rd and 4th in the queue and got our seats ,although not together near enough , as we found out we were very lucky as the information being given out was to come back at about 4.30pm for more info and by 4pm all 40 spare tickets were taken .
Tickets got I decided to splurge and we went to rain forest café for a last meal ,Oscar the brave wasn`t keen on this and everytime the thunder rolled he screamed but the waitress we had was fantastic and when we explained we had to be back at the station for 5 she had everything super quick to our table
Bill was 68 e for 3 kids meals,boys had burger and chips ,dd had pasta parcels and we had potato skins to share with coffee, she even brought out 3 kids cups clean in a bag as we were getting straight onto the train ,I just put the bill on my debit card and claimed it back from our insurance (although we`ve yet to hear anything!)
We got back to the station as they opened the check in doors so ended up being on the train for an hour before we even left but by that point we didn`t care because we were on the train!
Managed to get a train from Kings Cross to Peterborough and arrived at p`boro to find my dad waiting for us to take us home what a star !!!!
