Lizbro`s trip report day 4 thurs 15th march
Cast Liz (31) gets a bit obsessed with planning

Thurs 15 th march
Well after yesterdays long day we knew today would be a bit more of a slow one and we had arranged to go over to the Cheyenne so I could borrow my friends phone charger and let the kids play that evening , breakfast this morning was a quieter affair as we were later and I had forgotten autograph books and pens. Today we also decided to fill up extra at breakfast with some rolls and ham and babybels ,a few apples ect and have a pack lunch at the park ! (sorry I know its a posh hotel but we couldn`t help but have a few extras) First stop was the park as we had seen and heard so much the night before we had to check out the castle changes to work out what had been done ,we spotted all the lights and characters on the castle so took loads of pics so I could post them back on the boards when I got back ,then off to the shop near Passage d`Alladin so Oscar could get a Peter Pan dress up treasure chest he had spotted the day before ,we bought that and had it sent back to the hotel for collection later as it was quite bulky ,bless him ds (7) Ezra had asked for only 1 thing all week which was a small stitch ,the other 2 well .!!
So goods bought and pics taken for the boards we headed off to the studios to go on the studio tram tour ,its was pretty good and dh got nice and wet when we went to get on I noticed one side of the seat was wet so I made dh sit that side as I had oscar with me (who now seemed to be scared of everything!)After that ride we say down and ate our `packed lunch!` and went back to the park and hired a stroller as oscar was getting tired and his legs were hurting ,while in Frontierland ds(7) Ezra was adamant he wanted to go on Big thunder mountain now i`m a total woos and so is dh but someone had to go with him so after some other English dads had over heard the conversation and said it wasn`t too bad dh agreed to go (thinking he had the queue to talk him out of it ) at this point I remembered about our fass passes we had from the hotel so presented them and they walked straight on they loved it !! Ezra wanted to go straight back but dh wasnt so sure ,another ride we had missed last year was Buzz as it hadnt quite opened so we went over to it and there was about a 30 min queue but we persevered until 2 boys of about 10 appeared and were trying to work their way through the queue ,they wern`t English speaking but as we discovered a firm No seemed to get through and they eventually stopped tring to get past ,the thing was we had seen them join the queue outside as we went into the building so we know they had already pushed past a lot of people and felt it wasn`t fair.
Can`t remember my score on Buzz but I know it was rubbish!!! By now again we were hungry so we thought we would try Blue Lagoon as Oscar wasn`t going to go on pirates but he would eat there, we did a couple of rides on it with Ezra going on twice ,once with me and once with dh every time we went near pirates that week it was really quiet, rides done we made our way round to Blue Lagoon via the slopes as oscar was in the buggy as we turned the corner the kids let out a gasp and my dh was heard excitedly muttering its jack!!!its captain jack!!! well that was it bags dropped cameras grabbed ,books and pens out and the kids were stunned ,we had just been saying how they were almost becoming used to the characters, he was brilliant with the kids and suddenly Oscar was pushing past his brother and sister to say Hello !! He signed books ,posed for a picture and asked their names and before we knew it he was off to be mobbed by a crowd of kids and their mums behind us saying plain sailing kids as he went
As we walked into Blue Lagoon we knew it was closing as it was dead but at that point we didn`t care because we had met Jack!! As we walked out of Blue Lagoon Jack was coming back in and as he walked past us the kids mouths still agape he said hi Oscar ,plain sailing well that made his week that Jack had remembered his name and spent the rest of the time reminding us all.
As I had my Brits Guide at the hotel I ran back to get it and we gave Planet Hollywood a try, to be honest we werent impressed, it was like a hot house in there, our food took ages and the kids were fed up so we ate what we could and showed my book to get my discount, the server wasn`t really sure about this and took the book off to show the manager and came back with discount,we then set off for the Cheyenne to meet my friend ,the kids loved this hotel more than ours and they spent about an hour in the play area before exploring my friends room ,although the rooms were loads smaller than ours we said it would be perfect for next time if we got 2 connecting and the price would be a lot more reasonable ,with 3 shattered kids we walked back to our hotel well dh carried Oscar as his legs hurt (when we got back he came out with slapped cheek disease which shows as a red rash over the face but one of the symptoms before the rash comes out is general feeling of unwell ness and joint pain so at least we knew why he wasn`t 100%)
And off to bed for the last night in Disney (or at least thats what we thought ..!!)
