Has anyone else done this? I'm thinking of doing it on my trip next month since it's pretty affordable. If you've done it before, was it worth it/did you like it?

We did it in 2007 with a DVC discount. We really liked it! Of course we're into that sort of thing so I found it really interesting. It's not a huge investment so why not? :)

Ok...we did this once a couple years ago. It was nice if you are into that stuff. They explain a lot more of what you see on the ride and we found it enjoyable, even better with either DVC or Disney Visa discount. I would do it if I were you!

I enjoyed it. Since you are into gardening, there will probably not be a real lot of things you don't already know on your own or from the ride, but it is neat being a little closer to it all. I went in July and it was a tad warm in there. The water cooler became my favorite part of the tour!

My DS did this the last time we went. Thought it was really good. That says a lot for a 25 year old!

I know most people enjoy this tour, but it was too long and hot. I like gardening so it was ok for me to do it once, but my DH said they should've paid him to take it. It was just too hot for him. It doesn't cost that much and if you have a Disney Visa, you can get a discount if they still.offer it.

I don't think it will be as warm in Feb/March as in the summer. I dislike the heat and I don't remember it being too bad. The water cooler was a nice stop.

We loved it! We went in Sept and didn't have a problem with the temp at all. Living with the Land is one of our favorites anyway, so we really enjoyed this! I would definitely recommend it!

We liked it a lot. We did it in 2009 and again with the kids this past August since it was pouring anyway…my kids at 4 & 5 loved it. It's a nice little tour and affordable.

We (2 adults) went January 10th afternoon. Cost $17/person with the discount (I don't recall if they used my Disney Visa or AP?) so I thought it was a great deal. We walked up to check for openings & booked right then. It was over an hour (you are walking/standing the majority of it) & well worth it. I am not a gardening person (poor plants die with me), but I enjoyed it a lot since I love the ride! My BF had his own landscape design business so he loved it! I did a write up on All Ears. We got to feed the fish, take pictures & see a lot more than what you see from the boat when you cruise thru. Our guide was great, explained things very understandable & encouraged any type of questions! Very fun to see a more in-depth behind the scenes especially in the greenhouse part.

We did it last year and would do it again and it was reasonable. My kids were 8 and 9 and enjoyed it. I loved being
behind the scenes more than the seeds :)

With the debut of a few new growing systems to the greenhouse late last year, I would assume they updated the tour to reflect that.

DD(12) and I both really enjoyed it. She enjoys all things nature-y, besides actually being IN nature.

Without a doubt the best kept secret at WDW, and the best value on property...!

We did the tour and were shocked how little it cost, which meant we were expecting kind of a hokey experience. But if you are a fan of the attraction (we are) and have wondered what it's like to wander the growing areas then do it for sure. You get some fun information, there's something for everyone and you get the satisfaction of people who don't know about the tour wondering who you are and how you got to walk back there.
