Living With The Land Refurbishment Question

The best part of the refurb was that the fast pass was to be REMOVED!! Yeah, we never thought there should be FP for this ride. We never had a problem getting on this ride until FP. Hopefully this will be an improvement. I heard the FP for haunted mansion was to be removed too, since the line moves better without it. It closed for refurb while we were there in August, but we leave again in 3 weeks, so will have to check out the new version. BTW, does a CM still ride with you to answer questions???

Once the Land was reopened, the fastpass machines were still there, along with the "Fastpass return times" sign above the entrance. I'm not sure if the FP is actually being removed or is just not in use because of low crowds. Off the top of my head, the HM, Thunder Mtn, and The Land all had FP machines that were not in use this past week.

I rode the new version the other day. I like it. There is plenty of narration and I think they tell you more than they did before. I miss the CM but this was an improvement. Before you had some CM's you couldn't understand or didn't say a lot.

I agree. I liked it, too. The only disappointment for me was that there seemed to be less music.
