Living Statues ??

I thought I read a while back that they were leaving for U.Studios. Does anyone know what is happening with the living statues? We saw them in Italy 2 years ago and thought they were amazing!

Also, is the mime still in France? We liked him too!

Wow, I didn't know they were leaving? I saw them on my last trip to EPCOT at the beginning of the summer and I know you can book them still for weddings at Disney. Anyone know for sure?

I read somewhere they were gone as well. I have some great pics of DD, then 14, with one last Oct. So sad they are gone.

...is that they were nowhere to be found when we were in WDW for two weeks last month.

And earlier this year, someone posted on this site a statement from Disney -- a responsse to an inquiring letter, I believe -- admitting that they statues were no longer being employed by Disney, that their contract had expired, and that Disney is always looking for fresh attractions for their guests, blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda.

I think you can find them now posed, and poised, at Busch Gardens.

I googled and found the website for them!! The "references" page has oodles of praise for the statues at Epcot -- and judging from the pictures, this is the same outfit.

Did you notice on the fan page that any mention of Epcot or Disney was blocked out with a (...). There is also no reference from disney on their reference page. Maybe things ended on bad terms?

I have heard nothing about them being at Busch, but I will check. My sister works in the admin there with the general manager and she usually knows about this kind of stuff or has contacts that know.
