Can anyone tell me more about the Living Seas @ Epcot? It's one of the attractions that our family has not done yet and I really want to try next trip. Does it have any kind of ride vehicles or is it more like other aquariums that you tour on foot (like the National Aquarium in Baltimore)?
As we speak, we're not quite SURE.
The LS originally had a short "ride" called Seacabs that took you through part of the underwater (aquarium) viewing area.
Then a few years after opening date, they closed the Seacabs "ride".
Right NOW, LS is in "half-rehab" mode. (Part of the attraction is open, the other part is being rebuilt behind temporary walls).
One of the persistent rumors is that the Seacabs will be running again after the work is done (later this year).
BUT BUT BUT...
Right NOW you CAN visit (in addition to a very fine underwater aquarium environment) one of the hottest (and "funnest") new attractions at Epcot (and its not a hang-glider simulator).
Its "Turtle Talk with Crush".
Crush is one of the stars of "Finding Nemo" (the "Surfer Dude" sea turtle character.)
I won't fully describe this interactive theater attraction except to say that its AMAZING, SURPRISING and HILARIOUS for guests from 4 yrs. to 94 yrs.
If you want more info, do a SEARCH here and on Google for "Turtle Talk" and read the hundreds of reviews and reactions...
it "So ROCKS, DUDE!"
