Live365

It will probably redirect you eventually but typing it into your LAN thingy really does work! there's nothing in that space now so you're not really taking anything away, just adding another direction to follow! i was SO happy to see my Radio365 player open!

Okay, if I follow the directions, is this going to mess with our wireless router in anyway? We have Verizon DSL.

Does anyone have a secret back way in that they could post the link to?

I would NOT recommend changing your DNS to their DNS. You would then be relying on their DNS Server instead of yours. Additionally, if they have a lot of DNS traffic, it will really slow down your internet connection. If you REALLY need your fix, use this address in your browser: http://216.235.95.145/index.live

Try the live365 in a few days and it should be working.

Actually, my DSL seems to be running a little faster now! You can always do a system restore to a previous date if you wanted to use the previous DNS server after live365 is fixed, right?

Thank you Jeff! I really didn't want to have to do the DNS thing, and I definitely won't now!

And who wants to bother with a system restore? I don't need to listen to it THAT badly!

If the above link doesn't work, I'll just wait it out a little longer.

And thank you Jeff! Your link worked! I'm in again! :cheer2:

Oops, it won't let me log in as a member though, but at least I can still listen!

Oop again, no I can't! All the links still come up Page Cannot Be Displayed.

Listening to Muppetvision here! As far as wanting to listen to it "that bad", yeh that's why i joined and pay for it! um...the system restore was meant to be a helpful suggestion

Well, you would just reset the DNS to what it was before - I don't think I'd do a system restore.

In NET terms, I've always considered using another DNS not assigned by your ISP provider 'stealing'. Of course, they suggested that you do this, but if their DNS server ever changes (which happens) all of a sudden you won't get anywhere on the Internet. If you are using the DNS assigned by your ISP and they change there's a much better chance there won't be any interruption in your service.

And yes, their DNS server is most likely faster than the one assigned to your ISP. That's because you don't have to share it with very many other people. I just don't know that I'd use it, IMHO.

I have to tell you, i LOVE your mickey planter/garden! Was that hard to build? i have a nice size area with a flagpole to put something like that in. Do you remember how many stones it took? i have the mickey weathervane in there now.
Nice job!
