Hey friends. I'm sitting on a plane now heading to Disneyland! I'm heading to a conference for work at the Disneyland Hotel. However, I also was able to get an invite to the red carpet premiere for the new World of Color show. Follow along, but also find me on Twitter and Facebook for more live updates.

Sitting in O'hare airport in Chicago waiting to board my flight to LA. One step closer to Disneyland and the World of Color.

So, Dave and I were discussing who gets to interview which celebrities on the red carpet....

He offered me a 3-to-1 deal. If he gets to interview Selena Gomez, he'll give me the interview with the Jonas Brothers.

I'm not sure I made the best deal.

Live reports from the red carpet should start at 6pm (pacific). The premiere is scheduled for 8:45pm, with a VIP after party in Paradise Pier from 9:30pm-11:30pm. I think I need a nap already.

OK, I just wanted to bring everyone up to speed on my trip. Yesterday was a looooooong day of traveling, but it did allow me to see sites like this:

I finally got to the Disneyland Hotel around 3pm PST. That's after getting up at 3am EST to catch my flight out of Rochester.

I checked into my room. I'm on the second floor of the Magic Tower overlooking the pool.

The room is filled with Herb Ryman's art including his original 1953 schematic of Disneyland etched onto onto the entertainment center.

I thought these little soaps in the bathroom were cute.

I was famished last night. All I had to eat was a energy bar, a roll, and a banana. I needed to eat and eat fast. There was a reception I needed to go to for my meeting. I poked my head in, but there was no food. So I decided to go to Steakhouse 55 for a solo dinner. They let me in right when it opened sat 5:30p with no reservation.

I had a wonderful dinner, and finished up close to 7pm. I didn't even feel alone since I was updating FB and twittering. I got back to my room, and crashed as soon as my head hit the pillow.

OK, I need to get ready for my conference this morning. For those that don't believe I'm at a conference. Here's proof.

And then tonight, we have the World Premiere Red Carpet Press Event for World of Color. I can't wait! I found out that one (at least one) of the special guests for Podcast Cruise 2.0 will be in attendance. I was told to be sure I say hello...
