Good morning from the Swan
Arrived Thursday morning, checked in at the Swan and was at the Animal Kingdom by noon, didn't do much - poked around some shops, had a fried chicken sandwich, went on my 2 week safari a couple of times and grabbed my favorite spot for the parade - which has a Christmas theme to it -couple more safaris and then headed out and back to the Swan.
Once back - stopped in room, and then headed to Epcot, once the sun went down it was really chilly and I only managed to make it to Norway before bagging the day and heading back to the resort (though did manage to partake in a mango margarita or 2).
Friday:
Did a power shopping trip to Downtown Disney - all the stores were packed by 10:30 and made shopping a small challenge - but did manage to get everything that I went for and had most of everything shipped directly home
Back to the resort, grabbed sweatshirt and jacket and off to the Magic Kingdom for the rest of the day - picked up MVMCP ticket at Will Call and headed in.
Rode some of my favorites, skipped some and basically wandered around - until dinner time - Cinderella's Royal table - had the prime rib and salad - I was stuffed -
Met friends at Casey's and attempted to do some of the events for MVMCP - tonight was a sell out and the crowds were huge - made walking very diffuclt and wait times were unbelieveable - found a good spot to watch Wishes and the 2nd parade - bagged the rest of the night and headed back to resort.
Saturday
Had breakfast at Fresh at the Dolphin - then a quick trip to Epcot to send a postcard and the back to the resort
Later on the evening ended up at Kimonoa's and was at Tubbies around 1 am looking for scrambled eggs - ended up with a hot dog
Sunday
Stopped in at the Studios - wanted to check out the Villains Shop and then checked out the The Magic of Disney Animation which is open again - found out that I am not a very good "artist" - we learned how to draw Tigger - will try to clean it a bit when I get home.
Then headed to the Magic Kingdom for the afternoon - dinner was at the California Grill which was outstanding and then back to the Magic Kingdom for MVMCP - the crowds were easier to manage. Did the 2nd Parade, Wishes, Mickey's Twas the Night Before Christmas Show, Celebrate the Season, checked out the antasyland Holiday Hop show - even rode a couple of rides - there were only 2 of us on the bus when we came out - was back in resort and in bed by 1:30 a.m.
Monday
Spent most of the day at Epcot, met up with a few friends off and on - Spaceshp Earth, the Energy ride, Figment, lunch at Chef De France, caught JAMMitors, Voices of Liberty. A quick dinner at Electric Umbrella, a couple more of manga margaritas and then ended up at Kimona's for a drink and then to bed
Off to pack and check out - no late check outs today at the Swan
