Hi all :D

Thought I'd attempt a live trip report this time as I'm not very good at notes!

So I'm here at Manchester, T2 waiting for boarding to open on my 1.10pm!

I hope I've worked out how to post pictures directly from photo bucket on the app!

Cafe Nero's is the start of my journey, a latte & a panini! I would normally have a wine before a flight but as a solo traveller I didn't want to look like a complete wino at 11am!

Check in was a breeze, very small queue :) I've been give seat 75K which is up in the bubble, exit row at the window which is exactly what I wanted so perfect start!

Security was the same absolutely no queue! Last time I flew out of T2 it took an hour to get through security! So I'm very glad this morning was a doddle on my own :)

The plane is due to land in Orlando just after 5pm but I'm hoping for a slightly earlier landing time as we have tickets to MVMCP this evening (crazy I know!) I'll let you know how that goes later!

A brief plan of what my week has in store;

7 nights at ASMu in a preferred room, my friend is flying down from NYC so I'll meet her there!
Quick service dining plan!
Hopper tickets!
Transfer by ME!
Like I said we have MVMCP tonight? And tomorrow's plan is Epcot!

So I'm very excited to get boarded and get there! If anyone wants me to look into anything whilst I'm out there just let me know ;) x

Excellent! A live trip report! Bring it on!

Crossing my fingers you make it to the party tonight :cool1:

have a magical time!!!

DD and her husband are there now...today was their third magical day!
they're having a fantastic time!!!!!

YAY just got back day..cant wait for your report have fun

Well I've landed in Orlando! We landed late as we set off late due to a passenger being taken ill :(

I was allowed to use fast track through immigration as I qualified! So that took less then 30 minutes which I was super impressed with! Although not so impressed with the picture the machine took of me after a 9hr flight!

Just on DME now on my way to ASMu! I'll be late for the party but hopefully it'll still be great!

Morning All from ASMu! We've got building 1, ground floor room on the other side of the pool so it's lovely & quiet. It's the standard ASMu room so perfectly practical. So we didn't get to the party until 8.15pm thanks to various small delays, but never mind. DME journey over was uneventful but was lovely to see the sign as we drove through :) The party was busy, but most of the rides were a walk on or less the 5 minutes apart from Snow whites mine train! We didn't even go near meet A&E so no idea on that Queue.

The complimentary hot cocoa was actually really nice, as were the sugar cookies! We brought back some apple slices with us for this morning :) We caught the end of the 8.15pm parade meaning to watch the 10.30pm parade when it was quieter but we forgot and saw Ariel in her grotto instead. Whoops! We watched the fireworks at 9.30pm which fabulous but we were slightly in the wrong place, so saw quite a lot from behind the trees!

The Castle & Main Street were absolutely beautiful though, I could have people watched on their all night if I'd have been allowed!

We of course purchased the obligatory Christmas light necklaces which were an endless source of entertainment! $10 expensive but not as bad as I thought they would be! But the whole place was absolutely gorgeous! Here's my obligatory first arrival picture :)

We got on pirates of the caribean, BTM x 2, Splash Mountain, enchanted tales with Belle, space mountain, Ariels ride & meet & greet, haunted mansion and more but I've forgot! Ha!

The Queue's for the meet and greets were some of longest I've seen! So we didn't bother as we'd gotten there so late. 7 dwarves was snaking right round fantasyland, and just looked so ridiculous. I couldn't think of spending $70 on a ticket and waiting 2 hours for a meet and greet, mind you we did get there late so maybe I have different perspective.

The snow on the way out of main street was a lovely touch! But again long queues just to have your picture taken with the baubles or soldiers! Yikes!

Overall I really enjoyed the party, but it wasn't as Christmassy in any other sections apart from Main Street. So didn't really feel much different to a normal EMH evening open late. I'm glad I did it but I wouldn't do it again!

I also managed to stay awake the entire party, and we got to sleep around 1am so I'd been awake pretty much 24hours at this point! Sadly I still woke up at 5am :( but managed to get another hour or so sleep!

Now we plan to get up and get ready, get our mugs sorted, I desperately need coffee, and head to Epcot today! We've fast passes from 11.30am, then plan to drink around the world with my 2 friends. Could be interesting! We have a 6.40 ADR at Akershaus which I'm very excited for :) X

Joining in, lovely party pics.

Enjoy your drinking around the world, DH and his friend did it in December. They weren't fans of the shot in Norway if I remember correctly! France was a big hit though :)

Glad you made some of the party. Personally I ignore the rides at the Christmas Party and concentrate on the special Christmas elements to the night. It's a shame you didn't see the full
Parade it is brilliant. Hope you keep having fun :)

I admire your stamina, glad you managed to get to the party. Hope you are having a great day :goodvibes

Fair play for lasting so long last night!!! Hope today is going well and the coffee keeps you moving lol.

Morning all!

Sorry not updated whilst at epcot! I was having too much fun!

We arrived to epcot for about 11am and it was grey & cold today so jumpers and jeans were on! Thank god I packed layers, it got sunny in the afternoon and hot but once the sun went down it went really cold! So much so I had to buy a hoodie to get through the rest of the EMH until 11pm!

We started off with a FP on Soarin' which was great as always, stand by time was already at 75mins as was test track!

We then went to the UK for some fish and chips with our friend from Boston, not bad at all! But the fish was quite small, I always expect a big slab I suppose like back home!

We then tried to get a cider in the Rose and crown but even though we had our drivers licences the bar staff would not accept them unless we had our passports? This wasn't an issue at any other country around epcot and our drivers licences were accepted fine so not sure on that one? Anyone else have any problems with that. I'm glad it wasn't an issue as I don't like taking my passport out as ID.

So we walked to Canada & got a beer no problem! Moose head beer! It was lovely!

We then watched the lumberjack show, which was entertaining.

We then walked for our FP on mission space! We took the green option as last year the Orange made me feel sick for ages! We took our jobs very seriously!

Then it was Mexico! The sun made an appearance and we grabbed Margaritas at the stand!

We then met Mexican Donald and watched he Mexican musicians play in the sun!

We missed out Norway as we were heading back there at 6.40pm for our Akerhaus ADR!

We grabbed a water stop in China and etched the reflections of China show.

We then wandered through Germany for grapefruit Beer, Italy for prosecco and then headed to Norway for our princess dinner!

I enjoyed the appetiser buffet, and we all ordered the meatballs for dinner. The desserts however were not to our taste buds, chocolate mouse was nice but the rice pudding and apple cake with caradamon Kreme was horrible. I think it's expensive for what it is but I got to meet Belle, Ariel, Snow White, cinderella and Aurora which was lovely!

More to follow later! I'm off to animal kingdoms

Ok! Where did I leave off?

After Akerhaus we went for a wander around the rest of the world, having a last drink in France! By the time it was 8.30pm and it was cold!

So a stop in mouse gear for a hoody and we then set off to watch illuminations! Which was great as always.

After illuminations it was EMH until 11pm so we had a second ride on Mission Space, cue George clooney jokes throughout the ride!

Then figment, and finally we joined the Q for Trst Track which posted 40mins at 10.10pm! Our car came second! Yay! Out of 2! Haha! It was a great ride as always.

Then we finished off the day with spaceship earth which id never been on!

We're home for 11.45pm! Excellent day, despite the sunshine state being cold!

Just in the queue for EE at AK! 30 min wait as we can't FP as we have our FP's booked for MK later this evening!

AK is quite busy actually, despite the ride time being average the park is packed with people! Made it very difficult to get over to Asia!

Q seems to moving fast, and the sun is out. Had a hummus and veg snack off my credits to keep me going until afternoon tea at GF at 3.45pm!

We're in the Q working out where we can get a dole whip from after this! :D

Pit stop for a frozen raspberry rum lemonade in the sun in Dinoland! Delicious!

enjoying your trip report and pictures!!

DD is there with her husband..
she was in MK on tuesday, DHS on wednesday, epcot on thursday and AK on friday...

she'll also be at MK later today, so maybe you'll bump into each other ;)
