My wife and I checked in yesterday around 11am . We got loop 1500 like we requsted, site 1516.
As we started to set up the tent it started to rain, light at first but then it started to come down for a about 10 min long enough to get soaked from head to toe.
After we got all setup we had Some in-laws come spend the day with us, went swimming, had lunch. Lucky no rain during the afternoon.
After they left we layed down for a quick nap, around 6 we went for a bike ride around some of the loops to see if we can find some disers, we didn't, we did see a ********** member tho.
Can't back to get ready for some camp fire activities. We watched some of Brave had some smores and nachos.
It was a good first day, until about 10pm my wife got sick, over, and over, and over, and over again. She probably kept the neighbors up. At about 2am we made the decision to head up. She was miserable and couldn't take it. We live 45 min away so it wasn't too bad of a drive.
Me being a paramedic I was able to give her an IV and some nausea meds when we got home.
We woke up this morning around 9 she was feeling slightly better so we drove back to the fort where I now sit and type this. She is toughing it out our at least trying to. Hopefully she starts feeling better and makes it to Saturday checkout.
