WOW been so busy not really had chance to update so here goes.
Travel day 1.
Flight was good and on time. Virgin seemed to have changed there inflight meal service again from last year.
The afternoon tea was much better with wraps available and a choice of two.
Also alcohol was served in mini bottles rather than being poured by staff.
Immigration was the usually busy line
We managed to get to T-rex and have the supasaurus sampler and some rapta ritas.
Pop century is nice but so so busy been given a great room though we can see the fireworks from here.
Day 2
Early start to pick up the car (my first time driving over here)
Asked for the smallest one they had but still got a tank lol.
The plan was to go to sizzlers but we were not hungry so just went straight to wallmart for supplies.
Came back to unpack then it was off to MK.
Did the tiki room
picked up our SMK cards and just soaked up the atmosphere for a while.
Had a bit of a trek over to EPCOT as the monorail broke.
Got on Test track, mission space the I decided it was birthday beer time.
Headed to mexico for a cocktail then to germany to the biergarten.
Our server was great he wrote me a card and got me a bag a sweets
Then we went to japan and chris got me some PJs for my birthday.
Then we stayed to watch illuminations and had a long slow walk back to the bus.
I was asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow
Day 3
Was soooooo tired so got up a bit later and had breakfast in the food court.
I find disney food court breakfast a bit lacking but I was hungry so I ate it.
We then went to DTD to have a major explore and got a few more souvenirs.
After 20 mins trying to find the boat dock to POFQ we realised it had been moved back to the market place but right around the corner.
We were going to MK and I didn't want to get the bus back to POP ( Its a nightmare with the roadworks)
I wanted to show my brother POFQ anyway as its where I stayed with my DH.
I also saw my first on disney property alligator on the way to MK.
Got to MK did space mountain and met Mickey then it started raining.
Braved the rain round to Phillarmagic and then the people mover.
Decided to head over to Hollywood studios as MK shut at 7pm.
Thought we would get the boat to wilderness lodge then got the bus.
Wilderness lodge was amazing would love to stay we also saw a family of dear just before the entrance.
HS was packed managed star tours and dinner then left lol.
Day 4.
Early start for universal this morning.
Went to Island of adventure and when straight to WWHP. Did all the rides there and chris got his wand and I had a butter beer.
We then got the train to the london side of WWHP in universal studios.
The hogwarts express was great I loved it
By this point I was starving so we had burger fries and a shake.
Then did the mummy, and terminator and had a flaming Moe's at Moe's tavern.
We had to head back as had a reservation for Be our guest.
We both had salmon and I got the grey stuff from my server as I was still celebrating my birthday
.
Then did haunted mansion, its a small world, the tea cups and the seven dwarves mine train.
I was really disappointed with SDMT I don't see what the hype is and I will be cancelling all the other fast passes I made for it.
We then headed home for an early-ish evening. Giving me chance to write this.
Up for animal kingdom EMH tomorrow
