Now, I knew that in Korea they ate some foods that many Westerners would consider off-limits - the most obvious one being dog.
But I did not know that they ate squid and octopus live. I was so shocked when I came across the footage on YouTube. I was searching for videos associated with the raw and living food lifestyle.
Well, I guess I kind of found what I was looking for!
And, really, I'm not the type of person who feels even the slightest bit nauseated by images or videos - it's smells and tastes that are more likely to make me throw up. But this left me feeling a bit
.
I'm not debating whether it's right/wrong/cruel (I mean, different cultures have different traditions), and I'm not supplying links unless asked for (and they can be found fairly easily on YouTube anyway), but I was just... shocked. Not sure why
Anyone else know of 'weird' food and eating traditions..?
