First full day -- headed to MGM. Got to the gates by 8:40am and were inside the park by 8:50am. The opening skit started right before 9am and was finished by about 9:10?

Headed to get FP at TOT while others went in line at R&R. Rode R&R twice in Standby -- 2nd time was about 15 min wait. Went back and used our TOT FP. Picked up more FP for R&R for later.
Headed to Star Tours -- had about a 10 minute wait. Was about 11am now and time for an early lunch. Ate at the ABC Commissary. Since last night 6 Counter Service was too much -- ordered 4 adult meals and shared. Was fine. Left lunch and headed to Lights, Motor Action for the 11:50am show. Walked right on and had great seats. First time seeing this show....it was GREAT. We will try to do again later this week.

Finished show and left the park. I had to pickup a rental car at the Dolphin. Took the boats to the resort -- VERY SLOW and long wait. Took 45 mins from the park to the Alamo counter. Then the counter was closed until 1:30pm for lunch. Picked up car and headed to Pop for a swim.

Spent about an hour or so at the pool -- cleaned up and headed back to MGM. We had 4:35pm seating at 50's Prime Time (family fav) -- we killed time walking through shops and checked in at 4:15pm. By 4:30 we were seated. Our server was Patty -- took her quite a while to get into giving us a hard time -- about 1/2 of the meal then she started picking on me and my water and coffee drinking (needing plastic bed sheets...kids loved that). We ordered 4 adult meals to share which she didn't seem too crazy about but...It was plenty of food -- the little girls don't eat that much. It was a good dinner and we were not rushed. The kids loved having Root Beer floats as their drinks.

Headed out at 5:45 and walked right into the last Indy showing. Had front row seats on the far left.

They added a second Fantasmic at 10pm so we decided to do that one. We picked up FP for the last Mermaid show and then R&R on our earlier (past time) FP. No problem using them. Headed to see the Muppets -- walked right on. Went to the Mermaid show then headed to R&R only to find that it closed at 8:30pm -- the original park closing time. Very little was open now. TOT was so we rode three times walk on taking turns sitting with our 7 year old.

Walked into Fantasmic around 9:40 and had great seats in the Mickey section.

Long, but good day.

sound slike you're having a great time! thanks for the update! would love to hear more when you get a chance:)

Love it the time frames are exactly what I have been looking for. I plan on RnR & TOT first as well and the FP for later. Need to fit in Disneyplayhouse for DGS too and lunch at H&V around 11:30 or earlier. I think it will work after seeing you Live From the World! What times are the Lights Motor shows after the 11:50 one???

Ooooo -- Sorry, not sure exactly -- don't have my schedule with me. Pretty sure it was 11:50, 2:30is and 5:30pm. There were only 3 showings.

Two things really, really helped yesterday -- knowing that they would let us come back later if we missed our FP time -- never knew that and REALLY took the pressure off and that they decided around lunch time to add a second Fantasmic show.

I was very surprised...we took it easy during the day too...not running from attraction to attraction. Pretty relaxed day.

Have fun.

Crowds were surprising....but then again we had a plan and used FP's pretty efficiently.

Today (I'm at a conference) the family reports that EPCOT was fine this morning -- they did Soarin twice, Test Tract twice and saw Crush all before 11:30 lunch. I'll be meeting them at dinner time....I don't expect to be able to ride the biggies but who knows...

Oh my yor live if 2nd hand reports are awesome. We want to ride soarin'do test track and Turtle too. Plus again planning to eat around your time too, but at Garden Grill. Plan on doing afew Lands after lunch. Keep us posted I love these timeframed reports!!

Sounds like your having a wonderful time!
