Just got home from the three-peat, and it was incredible!!!
No, I didn't win the silent auction
Believe it or not, someone else bid on that picture on the last night, and I didn't want to go higher. I was hoping to get it at the reserve ($250)...with our spa bill and all the rest of our decadence, I didn't want to spend any more or our charge card might have self-destructed!!! Oh well, maybe they will have another one for sale in Nov.
Believe it or not, we don't have a lot of Disney stuff in our house. The big decorating theme is my comedy/tragedy mask collection...I have over 100 pairs plus a ton of knick-knacks, so they take up a whole room. But we do have lots of Disney stuff hanging in the foyer...a share of Disney stock, a Don Williams litho from when we met him on the Magic, a Magic inaugural sericel, hubby's
AAA ship made of pins, and a 25th anniversary WDW poster. We also have a crystal etching of the Wonder and we got a plate with both ships on this trip. But of course the place of honor is reserved for the 5650 stateroom art
It was hard to leave the ship behind after 10 incredible days. We had a nice meal with Tinkerkat and Natsmom at Palo last night...my last chocolate souffle for almost three months! My only regret on this trip is turning Tony into a seaweed wrap addict. I remember the days when he used to be content with the hydrobath...now it's massages and seaweed all the way, and he's even threatening to do an absolute face & body next time.
We had an 11:30 flight, and I was worried there would be a line to disembark, but we walked right off around 7:35ish. We had booked Happy Limo for 8, and they showed up in a cool brand-new stretch limo! We were also worried that the line for American at MCO would be bad, but that early it was virtually deserted. All's well that ends well
Trip report coming soon!!!
