Thanks to those who suggested checking in early..arrived at 1:30 today and our room was ready. No line at checkin and when I told the guy at the parking pass counter that my husband wasnt with me, he couldnt get rid of me fast enough! I doubt we will be getting any phone calls! Requested tower 4 water view and got both requests. Looking down at the pool area looks less crowded than when we here for spring break. Got 5 nights in a 2 bedroom off of ebay for 529 total. Brought our own router so computer is working well with no cord. So nice to crank the air and just chill in the room, but the pool and pool bar directly below look quite inviting, so I'm sure we will head down there in a bit.

My mom told them her husband wasn't with her and we got 3 calls.. finally we were there and answered the third.. she again said her husband wasn't there and they finally got it...

Did they still make you fill out a paper at the "parking pass" desk.

We'll be staying there in about 2 weeks and I thought I'd read that it was pointless to check-in early unless you were VIP or something like that.

Glad to hear that it's possible though.

I'm also planning to tell them that hubby is not with me.

If you really want them to leave you alone tell them the trip is a gift from your parents and you make about $25,000 a year. That what my kids do at the resorts when we book our points for them. None of them have ever been bothered by salesman or offered incentives to go to a presentation.

Are you happy with building 4. We usually stay on property and I am going to give WBC a try after all of the great things I've read but I want to make sure we're in a good location. Have a great vacation.

I really like the location of building 4. The rooms Ive stayed at here havent been redone though, so no granite. Ive stayed in a 2br and 3 br in this building neither had granite. Stayed in a 2br in building 2 the suite had been redone with granite and new furniture and it was gorgeous, but dont like that location as much.

we are 6th floor water view....love the location, can see the lake and the pool. Does anyone know if there's happy hour at the pool bar below?

We love building 4. This is the first time at Bonnet Creek and will definitely again. We have really liked watching the fireworks, it's amazing how close we are to Epcot.

Can you tell me what the shuttle schedule looks like right now?

shuttles begin running at 8am and magic kingdom returns as late as 12:30am on certain dates, epcot 9:55pm and hollywood 10:50pm. Between 12:15 and 3 there are no returns in the afternoon. Daughter has caught the 3:15 return from epcot past 2 days and both days it has been 45 min late

does the same bus go to 2 parks? which ones first in which direction?

We are checking in 6/19 - trying early check in.

Kim :)

Does the shuttle schedule allow you to be able to stay for the parades, fantasmic, illuminations, etc? Thanks

it does look like the shuttle schedule accommodates special events...I can't really tell by looking at it if the buses do more than one park, and I have not taken it myself.

In late March of this year, one shuttle bus went to MK first, and then to Epcot (both for drop offs and pickups). Another shuttle bus does both the Animal Kingdom and Studios drop offs. We preferred to use the shuttle buses to stagger out starting times. One person drove a car to the parks, so we could use the car for return to WBC. I didn't like waiting for the shuttle bus to come back to WBC. The time I tried to use it to come back from Epcot, the bus was so crowded with MK people that they only had room for 5 people at the Epcot stop. The bus driver said another shuttle bus was on the way. I have no idea how long people had to wait.

To get on the shuttle bus at WBC, I highly recommend getting on the bus stop at Tower 6. The bus picks up at Tower 6 first, and then the main building.

Or we just let our 3 boys under 5 who had just sat in the car for 10 hours run freely around us while she talked. They were quick to let us go.
