Live from wdw!

To use an internet connection with the I phone it is £6 per mb. from the US, it can work out extremely expensive:confused3

That was kinda the bit I was worried about!

Thanks for all the other information on text and call charges, and to remember to switch roaming and voicemail off... I'd need to remember to turn my email off too, as it checks that automatically, and that would incur data charges as above. :scared1:

Will investigate a little more... but might just leave my phone at home, and use DB's for the fortnight. ;)

Oh, and loving the live reports! Very glad to hear you're having a fabulous time, enjoy the cruise!

Great update; does it still feel 'quieter'?
Thanks for the info on the trainers DH already has a trip planned - no doubt we'll be bringing 3 pairs back then!

Have a great cruise:thumbsup2

Hi

I've not been in wdw parks as I've just this minute got back from discovery cove (which was amazing)

Saratoga Springs is very quiet - yesterday there were only 4 tables eating at the turf club;)

Wow sounds like a wonderful trip so far :cool1:

Have a great time on the cruise, I can't wait to hear how it was :goodvibes

I am taking my iPhone so I can watch movies on it on the plane but I am just going to leave it in airplane mode unless I need to make a call.

Be careful surfing the web from abroad, we went to France in May for a week and I used my phone to check emails and facebook. My normal bill of £55 was £130 that month!!!

DW checked her webmail in Chicago airport in May, basically to get an idea of cost for the cruise this August. She read 1 email and sent 1 very short, cost about £1.50, will work out cheaper to buy internet access for the laptop on the cruise, 100 mins for $55.

The parks are busy, you still need to get there for first thing, otherwise lines for the popular rides are long.
