Hi to everyone from the world! I will try to make this brief..we have to leave for dinner in 30 min.
Observations...MGM crowds very managable Mon; EPCOT crowded yesterday; MK VERY crowded today; that being said, wait times for most rides have not been bad. That being said---WHY does anyone wait 40+ min. for RnR when FP exists??!! We rode THREE times!
DDP rocks...see my reviews so far under restaurant review thread; VERY happy w/ our TS while CS is OK
HAVE A PLAN! GET TO THE PARKS EARLY! At MGM & EPCOT 30 min from start to finish was our longest ride; MK was a mess--Space, Splash & Buzz ALL had breakdown delays, Space while we were on it!
The kids LOVED MGM & EPCOT. We spent most of the day at FutureWorld and still didnt get to Innovations; only hit a couple of countries; luckily I planned in 2 days at EPCOT!
Don't hate me--we didn't really care for MK. I SOOOOOO do not get Space Mountain. Perhaps RnR spoiled me. (even DD9 who refused to ride RnR after waiting in line--left crying--finally rode it and LOVED it, she thought Space was just OK--"it needs to go faster"). We did Splash & Buzz twice; Pirates was good. DS7 (who rode ToT...) FREAKED as we entered HM (loudly "HOW DO YOU GET OUT OF THIS PLACE??!!"
)
Don't get me wrong, we are loving WDW, but my kids aren't into characters, and MK just seemed crowded and the rides too tame. Maybe Universal next time.
POP has grown on me. The resort itself in nice, but the rooms are kinda Super 8ish, though Mom said that's how they were in the 60s...POR or CB probably next time (yup, already talking about next time!!1)
Gotta run!
