Made it here Sunday the 15th. Good and Bad news..... Bad News it rained (and I thought we were done with rain after Fay! uuugh).... Good news we originally had a split stay 2 nights 2bdrv and 3 nights beach cottage. At check in the upgraded us to the cottage all week.

We are in 1250.. of the 4 years in a cottage have been in this one 3 times . They have updated it nicely. New rugs, appliances, curtains , furniture, beds,etc.... simply very nice!

Lobby floor is freshly sanded and overall the resort looks like it all has a fresh coat of paint...... even the tunnel under A1A! Dont fret ... Peter Pan and Co are still there!!!

Chair saving is in full tilt and I have heard many quest complaining today.

Outside of Sunday the weather has been perfect! 70's and SUNNY!!!! yay... go away nasty winter of the Northeast!

Still no internet access at the pool! O well I guess all cannot be perfect.

Rob... too windy to play in the water so far but my son and daughter will try there hand at surfing tomorrow!

Congrats on you upgrade! So glad to hear about the updates in the beach cottage. We are staying in one in July. Did they also upgrade to flat-panel tv's? Just curious as they seem to be doing this at WDW.

Weather has been improving as the week has gone bye! Today actually hit 85 on the car termometer!

Today we went for surfing lessons over at Ft. Pierce inlet. OMG so much fun!!! My 6 year old even did it and had lots of fun (she ewas actually much better than Mom!..... ooops hope she doesnt read this post! )

I would recommend this to anyone. Very relaxed and well done.

Thunderstorms forecasted for tonight to bring cooler weather... mid 60's tomorrow.


Tomorrow we check out of VB make a quick pit stop to Sea World and then 2 days at AKV!

Where did you book the surfing lessons? That is something I think our family could get into.

We actually booked right through the company that VB uses. It will save you about $20 per person. They (Lisa & Sal) were great and lots of fun!! When I unpack, just back yesterday to reality I will dig up the number.
