Live From the May Repositioning Cruise

This thread has been incredible. I have looked forward every day to the updates and photos. We are booked on the August repo and it has seemed so far away I hadn't gotten that excited. This has changed all that. Thanks to those on the Magic for their journal, and to those putting the videos together today.

You will probably need to be very patient with the canal web site cams. I suspect that due to the number of people trying to view them now, the cam refresh time will be much much slower than normal.

The camera is refreshing every 30 seconds it is just aimed at nothing we want to see.

It's been kinda funny to watch those two guys at the side of the lock. I've been trying to figure out if they are fishing or what they are doing. I don't think they're fishing. Maybe they are waiting for the Magic!!!

Wonder if they'll perform for the Magic!!!! ROFL (that is actually gross but it's funny to be sitting in our homes wondering what they are doing) I did see a duck or something floating earlier. Oh, maybe they are looking for the body they dumped!!!!!

I just sent another email to the canal authority requesting that they reposition the Miraflores camera in time to see the Magic enter the Pedro Miguel locks.

If anyone on the ship is reading this before you start into the lock - go to the right side of the ship as that appears the side that the lock cam is on!!!!!! AND WAVE

Actually, I believe that they need to go to the left (port) side since the camera is is pointing at the locks from the left.

When looking at the cam, the last boat that went through was going left to right so I was assuming that is the way the Magic would go. Am I backwards? I wish they would at least pan out again, they were a little more panned out around 11:30 central time.

How long now till she is due to go through? I am in the UK and am a bit confused about what time she will appear our time.

Yeah, that's how I see it. The can is pointed N and they will be headed S (at us), so portside is correct I think.
