2+ inches of RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have a 5th floor pool view. I'm pretty happy since I got this on Hotwire and was expecting to be looking out on the dumpsters. It's a looooong way to the elevators though. Staff are great. They let us use the fitness center with no charge because we were VERY WET (dripping water all over the lobby) and our room wasn't ready. Everyone here has been really really great! DD thinks it's tres cool. I don't know if she'll ever be happy at the All Stars again!

I know all about that horrible Florida rain. We went to WDW in December 1997, when the avg. rainfall is about .5"-well, remember an annoying little storm called El Nino? It POURED 6 out of 7 days. We wore those stupid yellow Mickey ponchos every day..I wasn't about to stay in the hotel room after paying so much money. When we went to the airport on our way home, I happily put those ponchos in a garbage pail..I never wanted to see them again..Oh, yeah..I got the flu that night. What a Wonderful World of Disney it was (ha ha).

Make the best of it..the best part is most guests will avoid the parks, so no lines if you brave it. HAVE FUN!!!!

p.s. we're staying at HRH in August...any suggestions on room location? We have 3 kids: 8, 4, and 2. I booked a pool view.
