Live from the first MVMCP!!!!

It should be about 7:10pm. You've already got Main Street lined with people waiting for a Parade that doesn't start until 8:15pm. Disney is trying to get rid of everyone that doesn't have a wrist band and then more people are coming in with Party tickets. Then it starts "snowing" and everyone stops and tries to get pictures. Just a mess.

This time tomorrow, I'll be getting on a plane and heading to Orlando. When I arrive, I'll be heading straight to MK for my Happy Birthday button and our party tickets. So glad we decided to go to two parties!!!!!

I know I read somewhere prior to the party that Snow White would be appearing with the dwarves. It was the same article that mentioned Phineas and Ferb would also be at the party. I guess that turned out to be erroneous?

Since P&F took Buzz's spot, is Buzz somewhere else or no party for Buzz?

Buzz is not meeting at MVMCP

I was at the first MVMCP last night and was disappointed regarding the characters. They allowed day guests in to see the princesses up to 7pm so they were able to see the princes also. I was second in line and by time I got our was 720. Belle and beast didn't come out til 8pm even though the sign said 7. So were in line til after 8 for that. Once we got those pics, we headed over to Cinderella. We got there around 830 and we were told they were getting ready to go in til the top of the hour. So we skipped them to see the memories show, fireworks, and parade. We were told that Cinderella would be there after the parade so We rushed back and the line was already closed for the night (this is a little before 11p). The CM said they go in at 1130 and there were alot of people in line. There were maybe 10 people. For the price i paid for the party, I would never do it again. It was way to overcrowded and the main characters werent out all night. I understand that they need to switch out but when a character is out 45 mins every hour and close there line at 11, it's not worth it. I rather go to the MNSSHP. JMO

Buzz is not meeting at MVMCP

Glad we saw him at MNSSHP! DD was tickled that he really signed her autograph book instead of using the typical stamp.

. I understand that they need to switch out but when a character is out 45 mins every hour and close there line at 11, it's not worth it. I rather go to the MNSSHP.

We experienced the same thing during MNSSHP this year.

OH I am so jealous. I want to go to a MVMCP sooo bad and its my birthday on Sunday.

Did Buzz meet during last year's MVMCP? He's in the Totally Tomorrowland Christmas show, so there wouldn't be a lot of time for him to do meet and greets between shows would there?

Oh and sorry for another post...but did they not even bother adding Flynn and Rapunzel to the parade? It would of been pretty easy to throw them on the castle float with everyone else...c'mon they had Tiana and Naveen in the parade the year their movie came out...and it didn't come out till late December and they were in the parade in early November. No excuse for not having Rapunzel and Flynn in the parade still.

Don't feel bad, I'm sure there are a ton of people who have no clue. Duffy is Mickey's teddy bear, given to him by Minnie. You can buy the bear all over the parks, and get different outfits for him.

We're not interested in the character meet and greets. How was the rest of the party? What were the lines like for cocoa and cookies? The kids are going to be all over that, if I know my kids. Especially since it's "free."

How are the parade and fireworks? Any other party special events going on? This is our first MVMCP.

Duffy used to be referred to as just Disney bear in books, but last year he got a new name and a new line of merchandise.

We're not interested in the character meet and greets. How was the rest of the party? What were the lines like for cocoa and cookies? The kids are going to be all over that, if I know my kids. Especially since it's "free."

How are the parade and fireworks? Any other party special events going on? This is our first MVMCP.

We LOVE the MVMCP parade. We always do the last one. The fireworks are great too, and there are shows and character dance parties that are fun. Even if you're not into characters, the quicker lines for rides are great. Cookie/cocoa lines are fast moving, since you're just grabbing and going. They also have apple juice and bags of sliced apples as another option.

My guess is yes as he was wearing the same Pumpkin outfit at Epcot that he wore during MNSSHP this year.

Same here sukhakuli...if I want to see characters I will do them during the day...however, even with that said, I am a HUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEE Mickey fan...♥♥♥♥him and I will be getting a pic of him for sure...and now that I found out that Peter and Wendy are out as well I will be getting one for my boy...other than that, Im there for the fireworks, parade and shows....

Thank you SO much for the info Mickeyhunter! We went to the party for the first time last year and while we got to see all the entertainment by the castle, we were pretty clueless on characters. I'm already putting together a plan of attack, haha. Thanks again!

I know the line for the dwarfs is very long. Would people be made if half of the party waited in line starting at 5:30pm, while the other half took the younger kids on rides to pass the time? The group hoping to do the party will have a very active 9/10 year old who cannot sit still very long and are worried about ruining everyone else time is she is forced to sit in line for 1 1/2 hours.
