Live from the Disneyland Hotel!!

We are here!!! Let's just say I am not impressed so far but I will write up a short report when I get back. It's my FIRST time here and we are headed to the park in about 10 minutes. The sun is shining and there is not a cloud in the sky!!

I am curious too. We are on DL Express right now leaving after 7 nights. We had a blast so much DS was crying that we had to leave!

I think you meant not impressed by the Disneyland Hotel, right? I don't think you had made it into either park yet based on the time of your post. This is your one-day trip with your mom, correct? (You had the thread about whether or not you could do two parks in one day and we all said yes.) Remember to follow the tips about how to get the most out of both parks in one day and you will be fine!! You will love the Toy Story Mania ride!

That's so sad! I seriously couldn't stop smiling my first stay in the DLH, but maybe that is because I wanted to do it since I was a little kid!

Enjoy! You could not ask for a better weekend weather-wise. It's perfect atm. And you get fireworks tonight! Should be a perfect night for it.

We are here too but we are at Park Vue. having a GREAT trip so far!!!!

Maybe they got one of those really small rooms?.....the ones that are really meant to be a second bedroom of a suite. Those second bedrooms are pretty small compared to one of the standard hotel rooms.

Our room at the DLH was pretty nice, and big, with a view of the Neverland Pool. But there were a few aspects of the hotel that I didn't like. I mean.....it's just old, and the outside of buildings are ugly.

I'd stay there again though. There wasn't anything there that would keep me away.

I would ask to be moved to another room if I wasn't happy with the room we were in. Especially considering the prices.

Well, hopefully they're having a great time at Disneyland!

It's NOT just the hotel, but I will elaborate later. I am excited to be going home.

Well, that's a shame. I have rarely felt like I was glad to be leaving DLR and going home! That is almost foreign to me! Usually I am plotting my next trip immediately after I get home. It was a gorgeous day today, so the crowds were probably thick, but I can't imagine what would have been so disappointing. I am sure we all cannot wait to hear a rundown of your day. I hope you and your mom got SOME enjoyment out of both parks and had somewhat of a good time!!
