LIVE FROM THE "BRINGING THE MAGIC HOME" 8/20 REPO CRUISE

Catherine, very very good, like Randall said.

Just got back from spending two days getting DD settled in at her campus. I had no idea that there was a hurricane and that you missed Cabo! What a shame. That is my absolute favorite port of any Disney cruise I've been on.

I hope that you have smooth sailing for the rest of your voyage. pirate:

LOL Catherine!

Cruisers will be seeing Roberto tomorrow! Roberto, can't wait to see your pictures!

Here you are in May before the great shirt race!

Hi to all,

I'm planning to get to my office a bit earlier to start uploading the images of the Magic as it enters the bay, at 06:40am CST

Problem is the it hasn't stopped raining since Monday, and tomorrow´s forecast looks almost the same.

I will however still have the race, the welcome festivities , the bar crawl, fireworks in the evening at 9pm and just a lot of fun.

Here are a few of the images of last time:

Just bought japanese sunshine for the Magic tomorrow, hopefully they will over night it.

Could somebody find out if Philip, a server from Croatia, will be on-board for the Halloween cruise? Thanks! :sunny:

Hi all - just putting my two sense in. Manzanillo was nice not overly humid but small and laid back. DH and I did a city tour (after getting off to a late start) we actually were back in front of the ship at 11:58. Things went well and after freshening up a bit went back out and hired a taxi to take us back to ocean for a little momento and then into town for a few souvenirs. Things were definately more laid back, relaxed. We loved it. Much less expensive than Cabo or Acapulco. The town is very small more industrial but I enjoyed it. Our taxi driver said that it was raining cats and dogs from the Saturday before until the day before. Overall, the experience was a nice one. And although I love Cabo also I was kinda glad that we got to dock instead of tendering at a port.

We're excited about Acapulco as we will be hosting "old friends" that haven't gotten a chance to experience it yet. Hey, we have late seating and had no one to seat with - seems to have happened to quite a few people. We requested tablemates and got moved into our last cruises' head server region - Alen from Croatia. (I think) Anyway, God bless his soul - he definately earned his pay on Monday. Poor guy was running back and forth with parties and celebrations along with trying to help others keep down their food. Unfortunately I was one of those that got seasick. Which happened when I went to Deck 9 to use the internet the seas were really rocking and rolling and then I was done in when our new tablemates ordered the crab. We were in Animators Palate and it was extremely hot. All that combined with rough seas - I was a goner. But thanks to Alen he even brought down to our cabin some green apples and crackers as he was concerned that I hadn't eaten anything all day except for some green tea which didn't sit right at all. Anyway, things went really well today and all in all DCL went smoothly into Manzanillo.

Had our formal night and Captain Tom "welcomed us back." Boy does that man have a memory. He hardly met us before yet recognized DH and I along with DD. Asked about our other 2 - kudos to him. Anyway, gonna sign off now as minutes are ticking by. Later all - Laura :wave2:

I'm so sorry you were seasick! Glad you're feeling better, though!

Laura, Thanks for the update. I look forward to it every morning before work. Enjoy the rest of the trip. :wave2:

Tank you so much for doing this. That is very nice of you.

Thanks, Roberto, for keeping us posted on the arrival of the Magic! It's all very exciting! We really enjoyed touring Acapulco during the May repo cruise. I hope the rain goes away and everyone has a great time in your city today!!!
