LIVE from the Boardwalk - my BWVcam is back!

Again, I am getting a blue screen. What am I doing wrong? I want to watch Disney waking up with my coffee It will have to do until I arrive in June BTW, I would love to set one of these up at the savana in AKV.

Looks great! Very cool.....I can barely put an attachment on an e-mail so someone streaming a live feed from their balcony at WDW is awesome

Won't need the live cam in about 4 hours when our plane lands at MCO!! We'll probably be ON the webcam later this afternoon!

I wish I could, but I have no idea what could be wrong. All I do is "click" on the link, & I can "see" the boardwalk.

Do you have a different computer in your home that you could try viewing from?

locodemickey - you probably hit the few minutes when we had to renew our internet connection. Disney gives you 24 hours from when you sign up, then you have to go to a web page and start it up again, so as I mentioned above it will probably go off for a minute or two each day when I have to do that. Off to AK!

FYI, I'm on a mac too - it's just a flash video so assuming you have the newest plugin it should just work.

Awesome! What a fantastic idea. I am definitely going to set this up for our next trip down during Memorial Day weekend. So, if anyone is interested in watching VWL May 23-26 I'll be setting this up.

Update: How cool. I just watched the boat pulling up and pulling out. Ok, I'm not going to get anything done today. I'll be watching this instead! Oh no....step away from the computer....

This is way too cool. I cannot wait to watch the fireworks with my kids tonight. My in-laws are actually on their way over there right now. They got off a cruise ship this am and are staying at as music tonight but they are planning on spending time at boardwalk so I am going to call them and tell them where to go and wave to the kids. Thank you so much for sharing, my kids cannot believe that they might get to see their grandparents while they are at disney and the fact of being able to watch the fireworks is (in my son's words) wicked awesome. YOU ROCK!!

Something is happening around 11 every day that is knocking us offline and rebooting the computer. Not sure what as we aren't here, but for two days now it has happened. Just set things back up - sorry about that! And yes, not sure what is going on but we had audio yesterday morning and not since. Everything else is working though.

BTW - I've never quite understood which view those rooms facing the boardwalk and the Inn are. Is your room standard view, preferred pool/garden or boardwalk view?

What room are you in? The view looks like our favorite view Room 5051. Are you close to it?

skorpie - we ARE in 5051! And it's now our favorite too! It's fantastic! For the poster who asked, it is a Boardwalk View room. We're the last room right on the corner of the courtyard, top floor. We have a living room balcony and a window off the bedroom (a one bedroom unit).

Good news - audio is WORKING! We messed with the settings and I think we've fixed it. You can hear the boats and the Boardwalk games!
