We made it.

Great Weather, Great Sail-Away Party, Great Ship.

We have late dinner seating (LAPLAPL), don't know who our servers are yet.

I promised to post the movie schedule, and I'll try to do that tonight after dinner.

Let me know if I can answer any questions.

Hi Bruce! Thanks for posting. We're on the Eastern June 28th. I can't wait to be in your shoes. Get off the computer and go have some fun!!! Eat something great at dinner tonight!

Bruce,

Thanks for checking in. Have a great time on board. Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!

Who are your serves and stateroom host or hostess?

Have a MAGICal week!!!

Andy

Bruce,

Hope we left the ship in good condition for ya -- we just left the ship yesterday, 5/31, and we had a GREAT week. A little too much sun in Cozumel, but all in all, wonderful!

Have a MAGICal time this week. We were thinking when we were disembarking about all of the people (like you) just beginning their vacation.

VAL

Hey Bruce! How's the weather?

The Weather is Great. When we woke-up this morning my wife was wondering why we had stopped, one look outside showed extremly smooth seas and us still cruising away to St. Maartin.

I havn't met our stateroom host yet, (and we had no towel animals last night), but our servers are Gabor from Hungry and Teddy from the Phillipines, both are great, and we've already made new friends with our table mates.

We have Captain Guus and Cruise Director Jim (I've never had Jim before, has anyone else?). The Walt Disney Theater cast changed out this week, but many are returning performers. Tonight is "Morty the Magnificent" and my DD(8) wants to go, so we'll see the new cast for our first time tonight.

Sail-away party was great and we left the dock before 5pm. The band is "Sea Breeze" and they have alot of energy and are alot of fun. For some reason the NCL ship wasn't at Port Canveral on Saturday, so it was just us and the Carnaval Pride pulling out of port.

Our first showing of "Finding Nemo" is Tuesday, and the stores have some great Nemo items that we'll have to buy.

I still need to post the movies playing, but I don't have the schedule with me right now so I'll get those up later today.

We went and saw "Finding Nemo" last night, we really enjoyed it, even my DD 12 admitted I was right when I told her she would like it, I love it when I'm right!!!

Have a blast! I can't wait to see Finding Nemo too. Do you think it will still be there in May 2004? (ha-ha).... Thanks for taking the time to share.

Hi Bruce!

We've sailed with cruise director Jim twice...we think he does a great job! He is more low key than Rick, yet is still very enthusiastic about the cruise and all it has to offer. It is obvious he loves his job with DCL!:p We have our fingers crossed that he is aboard the Magic when we sail again next spring.

Have a MAGICal week...we're so jealous!!!!:smooth:

Here's some more information that people asked for;

The Movies in the Theaters are;
Brining Down the House
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Jungle Book 2
Chicago
Treasure Planet
The Lizzie McGuire Movie
Piglet's Big Movie
The Recuit
Catch Me If You Can
Holes
Finding Nemo
Shanghai Knights

The Excursions we have booked are;
St. Maarten: Island and Butterfly Farm Tour
St. Thomas: Wild Thing Beach & Snorkle Excursion
& The Paradise Point Tramway
Castaway Cay: Glass Bottom Boat Scenic Voyage

I'll report back on each.

Some info from Arno at the Internet Cafe. Begining in July both the Wonder and the Magic will offer wireless Internet Service for people who bring thier own laptops. The service will be based out of the Internet Cafe so will only work as far as the Promanade Lounge, but will allow guests to bring on thier own laptop and use thier software while access the internet or thier own networks via the internet. Wireless interface cards will be provided by the internet cafe, but the package price has not been released yet.

We did Bingo this morning (lost) and DD(8) is enjoying the Oceaneer Lab, while DW naps.

I'm off to ESPN for a hotdog and a beer.

Bruce,

??? - Can you still get the Mickey Bars at Dessert?

??? - How about those chicken fingers at Topsiders?

??? - Is there now a charge for room service beverages (Milk, tea, juice or lemonaid)? Some discussion about this on another post and since you are there first hand...)

Hope the rest of your cruise goes beyond your expectations!

Thanks!

P.S. - Thanks for the movie information - We sail next!

Hey Bruce,

we were on the Magic last week and saw Nemo on board. They did not have the "Opening Night Nemo Pin" on board last week.

It would be a huge favor if you can buy 2 of them for my kids from "Monika" at Pin trading nights or in the Disney Store for me and I will gladly pay you all the money for pins and mailing expenses when you return.

Tell Monika they are for David from NY - the family that who gave her the Tinkerbell pins!

PLMK

Thanks

- David

Calm seas, blue skies and much happiness!

Rae

Bruce,

We also talked with Arno at the Internet Cafe last week and asked him if they ever plan to move the Internet Cafe to a quieter place. It is SO LOUD in there sometimes with all the TVs going and the lounge singers in their at night. You just cannot concentrate. He said they he wished they were, but he did not know for sure.

The Library on Deck 2 would be ideal for the internet cafe! Nobody seems to use it except for DVC- when people close on an onboard point purchase!

The Library would be an excellent site for it!!!

Great suggestion!

Rae

Hi All,
Last night we saw "Morty the Magnificent" stage show and the new cast did a fine job. Our dinner mates recognized some of the moves are still from memory instead of reflex, but they are all in the entertainment industry and notice small things like that. We also went to the Cabaret Show which featured Michael Harrison's comedy and ventriloquism. My DW and I had never seen this act, but our DD(8) had (I'm not sure how that happened), but it is a great act and I highly recommend it.

This moring we had our character breakfast, which was great. Lunch was the Asian Buffet, which is good, but not for me.
Dinner tonight is at Parrot Cay (DW's Favorite).
Tomorrow is St. Maarten.

The skys are clear and moderate winds. The seas have picked up to about six feet which still have no affect on the ship, (I think we start to feel motion at about 8 foot swells depending on ship speed).

Some Answers:
djs113, I'm not into the pins, but I'll do my beat to find the DCL Nemo one. I heard it was going on sale today.

GenieDana,
Mickey Bars for dessert are still available. I can't image what would happen if they ran out. The Magic would turn into the Bounty.

The Chicken Tenders at Pluto's are still my kids mandatory first meal on-board, and once each day.

We had room service yesterday and had milk with our PB&J's. No Charge.

One more observation: We have a deck 2 port hole room this time which is neat because we've never had one before, and those big port holes are very nice. But, I do like the layout of the inside cabins better, and I like the sound and feel of the ocean going by. So my choices for future cabins are inside or verandah.

That's all for Now!
