Thanks to everyone for their concern and kind wishes for my DS. We were in isolation from 1pm Sunday (Key West) until Wed. morning (Cozumel). Luckily, no other child reported stomach problems on the cruise, so at least he didn't give it to anyone. (all told, he only spent 2 hours in the Lab).
We had a great time on the submarine in Cozumel. As I posted before, we really enjoyed Pirate night. In all honesty, it was just great to get out of the cabin! Other hits were the Galley Tour and Tea with Wendy. My DS was one of only a handful of boys in attendance and was thrilled to be chosen to "sit in" for Wendy's brother John.
Unfortunately, Friday morning he showed signs of a bad cold. (I have never heard more coughing and sneezing than on this ship!) By evening he was miserable, so we stayed in the cabin for yet another dinner.
I must admit that I was eager to get home on Saturday. As my DS puts it, "we need a do-over." I agreed and booked two more cruises onboard. I feel like I got a preview of what a great cruise could be. After reading the Navigators everyday, I found that there are so many activities that I really want to do.
Once again, thanks for everyone's good wishes. It was so lonely in isolation -- it was great to be able to connect on-line and get support from my Dis friends!
