Live from SSR: Using up banked, current and borrowed pixie dust!

Looks like you had a great trip, and really got a lot done. Any updates on the new pool at SSR (or is it a renovation?) ??

Your pictures are really nice, as a BCV member your SAB pics almost made me go throw on my bathing suit!

I am home safe and sound and arrived to a lovely 75° day. I wanted to post a couple of final comments.

PD #14: When I retrieved my express checkout bill from the door this morning I also found an envelope with my boarding pass and luggage tag! What a great system! I was not looking forward to a long line in the hot sun waiting at the RAC desk. I called bell services, rode with my luggage up to the RAC desk, the bellman gave RAC my luggage, I showed my ID and my Delta credit card (which earns me a free checked bag) and I was done!

PD #15: I mentioned to the bellman that I would be going to DTD to kill a little time until my DME pickup. He said, "Why don't I give you a ride?" What? Ordinarily I love walking but because the temp was heading to 97° I decided that the people next to me on the plane might prefer that I not get too sweaty. This bellman told me that SSR also has some vans because of its size and he can also give folks a ride in the van. He said they realize that SSR's size can work against it in the eyes of some members and they are trying hard to accommodate. I guess so!

PD #16: I had no seat assignment for the trip home. Tink strikes again--I got 17B, an aisle seat.

I loved my trip. While I would have liked it to be with DH and longer than 4 days, I had the chance to experience new things and vacation in a different style than I usually do. Even an old broad like me enjoys change!
