Good morning DISers and US/IOA fans! My family and I checked in to PBH last night and we are staying for four nights. We have a standard garden view room in the east wing and we are literally a few steps to the boat launch to the parks. I am very pleased with the location.

The room is very nice, clean, bright and comfy. The bathroom is huge! I believe the room size is 450 square feet, but I think a lot of that is in the bathroom. For comparison, the rooms at disney's Polynesian feel MUCH bigger. There is no daubed at PB. Just the two queen beds, an armoire, nightstand and a round table with two chairs in one corner and a lounge chair of sorts opposite the table.

I have no complaints about the room or location. We explored a little last night and we aren't too far from the beach pool, and my kids are anxious to spend some time there, so I'm sure that's in the cards today.

We are taking full advantage of the early entry to IOA and heading to the boat at 7:00am.

I will be posting photos of the resort and our room upon my return home, but you'll have to be patient because that's in two weeks!!!! On Sunday we are heading to the Polynesian. :)

If you have any questions about PBH, I will do my best to seek out the answer for you!

More later - time to get ready for my first day at Hogwarts!!!!

Have a great day, looking forward to reading more about your trip :)

Thanks for checking in about your experience so far. We're staying at PBH for the first time this December. I thought the East Wing was kind-of far from the boat launch and that I should ask to be in the West Wing to be close to it. Not necessarily though???

I've been wondering how much of that 450 sq ft is eaten up by the bathroom. Have you ever stayed at either of the other on-site hotels? If so, how does the actual "living space" (i.e. not counting the bathroom) compare to HRH and RPR?

Let us know about the pool and about Sal's! AND HAVE FUN!! :goodvibes

The boat launch is beside the west wing. That's where I stayed this past Tuesday.

Ya, you must be in the west wing if you are near the boat launch and the beach pool. Hope you keep checking in and giving us updates!!!
