Live from POFQ

I arrived with my family this morning at 11am. We did online check-in. Our room was ready when we arrived. Upon entering, I checked for a refrigerator. We had a new one up and running. I have no idea how they're doing replacing the rest of them throughout the resort.

Since we're on the dining plan, I went to get our mugs. Unfortunately, they only had two colors available: orange and purple. I did see other guests with pink and black. I was asked by the CM how long I was staying, and he coded the mug as a "length of stay" mug ($17.99). He told me to put the receipt in a safe place; if the mug was lost or stolen I would need the receipt to have it replaced. So I guess the soda machines at POFQ are RFID ready (didn't get to try them out). We had lunch at the Contemporary and noticed that they weren't coding the mugs there and the mugs were priced at $15.99. I'll be reporting later on!

I think green is the third color for the new mugs if I understood it correctly.

The pink, blue, black and yellow are the ones they have been using the last couple of years so it sounds like those are folk using the old mugs

Another change since my 2011 trip: life jackets for kids are no longer available at Jackson Square. They are now available by the pool. I like this better, since they don't have to be checked out. My boys just used them and returned them to the bin once they were done.

So glad thy have different colors for the mugs now!! We have a ton of blue, pink!

How are they using old mugs if the machines are RFID now. Confused.

They started giving out the RFID mugs prior to the machines going live. Once the RFID machines go live, if someone has a non-RFID mug, they most likely brought it from home and will have to buy a new RFID mug.

Nope, you return them to the bin. There were plenty of them when we went swimming.

I don't know how long ago they switched from the shampoo/conditioner in one, but now they come is separate bottles. The blossoming orange smells nice.
