Hi all!Just arrived here yesterday afternoon and happy to report all is well in the Orlando area!We got in town about 11.30 am and they let us check in early:cool1: Our room was spotless till we made it home:rotfl: Check in was flawless! The pool is small and not heated but it didnot stop guest from useing it!It,s 86 degrees here and sunny what is there not to love:confused3 .
We ate at he carving station last nite ,and let me tell ya (they didnt make any money off of big daddy):rotfl: :rotfl: The food was really great,The owner was there and made you feel important as soon as you walked in the door,we had a waitress from Russia who was fantastic, never once did i go with out a cold one or my girls wait on a refill of there sodas! If you could not find something here that you liked ,i'm not sure where else for you to look! They even had a kids hot bar set up!I had cold boiled shrimp and a salad, prime rib,new york strip, and crab legs and cheese cake,My wife got the ribs, stip steak and crab legs,dd had mac and cheese, ribs ,pork sholder, and strip steak,
They had smoked turkey ,roasted lamb, and a ham i think that i never kept room to try.The desert bar was filled with cheesecake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and some other items ,but i promise you if i had eaten one more thing i would have looked like the blueberry girl from willie wonka:rotfl: :rotfl:
Total cost 2 adults 1 child, with beverages and a couple cold ones ...78.oo and some change and darn well worth it!

That sounds great! We're staying at the Palomino suites this November so it's good to know the accomodation and service is top notch! We saw the Carving station last time we went to Orlando, but didn't get a chance to try it but we're definitely going to make an effort to do so this time.
Have a great holiday:goodvibes

Thanks - we're so looking forward to it now we've seen your comments.
Just wondering if I could ask you a few q's:

1. I'm I right in thinking there are safes in the lobby? We're not too bothered about having a safe in the room as we don't take laptops and we have travellers cheques not cash.

2. How's the breakfast, what kind of items are on the buffet? One of the reasons we like suite-hotels is that we can have a nice breakfast before we go out - we never expect anything fancy, after all it's free!

Thanks in advance

Have a great holiday!! :cool1:

We have eaten at RF at AK and thought the food was just so so also. How did you like Nemo? I've heard it's really good! 92 and hot sounds good to me right now! It's about 25 and snow flurries here right now.
Have fun at BB today!

Thanks for checking that.
Mmmmmmm the breakfast sounds good.
I agree with BigV on the temperature -hot, hot, hot - we prefer temps in mid 80s as opposed to early 90s - good idea to go cool off a Blizzard Beach. I love Teamboat springs- it's so much fun!

Have a great day!! :thumbsup2

We booked the Pal Nov 26 to Dec 3, 2007

DH was wondering if you have used the shuttles to the parks?

Would you stay there again and/or suggest it to others?

Actually, I was going to ask the same q as kiki mouse - also how often do the shuttles run and is there a charge?

Hope you're still having a great holiday!!:goodvibes

The meal in Italy sounds good! I heard the MK was closed for a while on Tuesday because they were at capacity and Blizzard Beach closed up a couple of days too.
We usually end up doing a lot of shopping when we're down there too! Enjoy the warm weather today. It's 19 degrees here right now. BRRRR!

Re: No strollers or luggage allowed in the shuttle

Can I bring a folded stroller to use later at the parks?

We were planning on bringing a stroller and never thought there would be a problem doing that.

I heard that we can park for free at downtown Disney and take a bus from there to the parks??? Does anybody know if that is the case?

Thanks!
