Live from Orlando... it's WDW!!!! - updated 12/14

Anyway... we're here on resort @ Coronado Springs. We arrived from CT yesterday to some gorgeous weather. We hit DTD and rented a boat. What a great time. If you've never done this, you've got to... Very relaxing and the kids (DS9 DD6 & DS2.5) had a blast!!!

We ended up at Planet Hollywood for dinner (it's only ok really) but I met family from Orlando. I don't get to see my Aunt & Uncle and 3 cousins a lot, so it was really a treat. My uncle picked up the tab for dinner. I almost always pick up the bill, so it was really a treat indeed!!! I love to do it for others, but it is kind of a humbling experience to have someone do it unexpected.... Thanks, Uncle Paul!

The weather is perfect this morning at 7:53... It's probably in the 60's expected to get into the low 80's. We're going to AK today, Chef Mickeys for dinner tonight and maybe MGM for evening EMH. My oldest cousin, Angela, is going with us.... I have no brothers or sisters and she is like a real sister to me. It's really a neat experience for me being 35 and having such a great time with her... She gets along great w/ DW & the kids. She's a keeper!!!

Anyway, sitting here looking at the lake w/ my wireless Verizon aircard (BTW Verizon Reception on this aircard is not good in the rooms - booo!!!) But it is so nice to be on VACA!!!

I was up at 6:00 and it takes everybody else a while to get going.... gives me time to come here and post!!! Be back soon!!!

We've been here since Thursday. Magic Kingdom was empty on Thursday. last night was a total mob scene! I've never seen so many people on main Street. Everyon thought that a celebrity was on the corner. You couldn't pass for 2 hours!

Hopefully it will calm down on Monday.

Just another quick post to say 'hi'...

We have been having fun. We're a little tired, but we're sleeping in the best we can. The rides have been walk-on or 5 minute wait for us this week except for yesterday at Epcot Future World... more of a wait - FP required!!!

The weather has been good, crowds light, and we're missing a horrible storm in New England so how great it that?!?

We had a great dinner at Boma last night. The ribs and deserts are out of this world...

By the way... I think I've come up with my theme for a true TR: "One too many... kids that is"

I love that you are posting "live" from the "World". We are thinking of going in late November and early December in a year or two, so I am happy to hear that the crowds are managable and the weather is nice.

We were going to go to MK yesterday for a while then MGM for a 3:40 fantasmic pkg lunch @ Mama Melrose, but we got a late start, so we ended up at MGM.

The weather was a little warm in the sun... but it was a great day overall. We're really taking this trip a little easier which is working out for everybody. The kids seemed to really like the 'backlot tour' and muppet show a lot... They thought it was really cool when Dad started 'The Wave' at the fantasmic show.... It took a few times, but then it got going and wouldn't quit!!!

Today we're up early to open MK. We have dinner planned @ Teppan Edo and we're really looking forward to that... the trip ends on Sunday, but we're expecting really nasty weather in CT on Sunday for our return flight.... What should we do? I don't want to think about it!!!

So we're still @ WDW and we have big decisions to make today... It's supposed to be snowing really big on our return day back to CT... so do we try our luck in the airport, leave early, or what???

We extended by a day!!! Everybody seems pretty happy. I am ready for my bed, but oh well... if you're going to try to do the right thing sometimes you have to sacrifice!!!

MK today was great. We were there for rope drop and hit fantasy land... walk on everything we want but waited too late for Dumbo...

Tomorrowland was pretty easy, and then off to frontier & adventure. Back to tomorrow for SM but oh no . . . . . . . . it's closed down . . . . . broken . . . . . . . But we do take a ride on the TTA (aka people-mover) and see the inside of SM w/ the lights on.... pretty cool and we got video to boot.
